3 SOFTWEAVE WEBBING HARNESS Soft weave polypropelene web harness with breathable waffle linings. Soft, strong and lightweight. Durable harness which is machine washable AT 30 C. This harness is not nylon and therefore remains soft and supple in use. All sets are supplied with sure grip reins, a fixed arch to the pad to give good spine clearance and full breeching complete with trace carriers. The crupper has buckle adjustment for ease of fitting. Single sets have a sliding STARTER An ideal exercise harness for smaller horses. Having maximum adjustment with mainly roko buckles. It gives a far more durable set than the lighter weight or cold bonded strapping often used. Cleaning only requires a wipe over with warm soapy water even on the leather linings. Lightweight and comfortable for the horse and virtually maintenance free. The pad has a fixed arch with a soft flock filled panel which will mould to the shape of your horse while allowing ample spine clearance. These sets are supplied with sure grip reins. Single sets have sliding bellybands which can be fixed by the addition of stabilising straps. 4 CROWN A fine classically styled easy clean harness designed for those wishing to have a more traditional appearance with ease of maintenance. Ideal for pleasure or exercise classes these sets are available in brown or black and with stainless steel or brass buckles. Bridles have a traditional ring front and fancy rosettes. Reins are plain cotton reins web. We use a specially selected soft washable hide for the well padded linings. Patent lining is also available. FALCON Well padded and robust this harness stands up to rigorous daily use and has soft washable leather linings. The pad is well padded with a wool flock panel and good spine clearance. For pair sets a traditional fine pad is also available. Available as dedicated single/ pairs harness or as fully interchangeable sets. The reins are made from a cotton rein web with a rubber weave for added grip. MERLIN A heavy duty marathon harness requiring minimum maintenance. Available as dedicated sets or with full single to pairs/tandem/team conversion. Exceptionally strong, yet supple and horse friendly. Primarily designed with the endurance horse and rider in mind this range is also suitable for the pleasure rider, riding schools and everyday exercise. This equipment is comfortable for both horse and rider even with prolonged periods of use and is designed to be hard wearing, with low maintenance. All lining leather used on synthetic bridles is fully machine washable for comfort and ease of care. All fittings are brass in order to allow for a safety break point in case of an accident. Stainless steel fittings are available as a special order. The full range is also available in fist grade Sedgewicks bridle hide. 8 REINS are available in the same colour range and materials as the bridles. They are supplied with clip fittings to the bit as standard. If a buckle is required please state when of ordering. Continental reins have a soft cotton rein web handpart in ⅝" or ¾" with the first 18 at the bit end being in a web to match your bridle. Super Grip has a similar feel to traditional rubber grip reins, but is far more flexible, being of soft rubber, moulded around a polyester core. Plaited Reins made up of a four strand polypropylene plait. Both the plaited nose and the fully plaited halters can be made either adjustable or with the traditional fixed nose front. When ordering please specify the breed and age of the horse if a fixed nose is required or, alternatively, supply a measurement for the nose front. A chunkier plait can be achieved by using a heavier rope. Using this fine a rope produces a more detailed and flatter plait than that associated with the usual plait made from unravelling a 12mm rope. It means that more variety is available with smaller width increments. For comparison a plait made from 6 strands of an unravelled 12mm rope is of approximately the same width as our 10 strand plait.
