2 Heroes MAKE America, The Manufacturing Institute s new military training program, oers industry training designed to help our nation s service members transition into manufacturing careers. The Manufacturing Institute is a charitable and educational organization recognized as exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and ailiated with the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM). The Heroes MAKE America program is an approved U.S. Army Soldier for Life career skills training program and will be oered to soldiers in their last six months of military service. Heroes MAKE America is dierent from other veteran transition programs because it enrolls soldiers while they are still on active duty, thus enabling them to continue to receive military pay and benefits. During the 10-week accelerated Heroes MAKE America training program, soldiers earn key certifications and receive instruction in resume writing, personal finance and behavioral interviewing techniques to help facilitate their transition to the private sector. Participants also hear from Human Resources representatives and tour local manufacturing facilities. Veterans already have the technical skills and leadership qualities that rewarding and well-paying manufacturing careers require. With just a short course of training, they will be the perfect candidates to fill open manufacturing positions. Supporting the Heroes MAKE America program helps expand a skilled manufacturing workforce. You also will be championing the career growth of active-duty service members transitioning into rewarding careers in manufacturing. Your contribution may also be tax deductible; please consult with your tax advisor to determine deductibility. Heroes MAKE America underwriting and sponsorship investments go directly toward the program. Each investment underwrites additional educational classes and other key program elements that assist in preparing military personnel for success in the civilian workforce. 3 Patriot Underwriter: $250,000 (Exclusive Limited Annual Availability) Heroes MAKE America Patriot underwriters have the exclusive opportunity to help develop a new Heroes MAKE America training program with industry-specific skills-training. The Patriot Underwriter will partner with The Manufacturing Institute to define military base location, educational partners and curriculum. Additionally, the Patriot Underwriter will receive premium recognition as the Heroes MAKE America training sponsor. The Manufacturing Institute will work with the Patriot Underwriter to develop a customized plan of engagement for your sponsorship. The Patriot Underwriter package is customized for each new training program and location and includes up to four training classes per year. Your company will be acknowledged in national media and on social media in partnership with The Manufacturing Institute and the NAM. The Manufacturing Institute will consult with your marketing and communications teams regarding such recognition to maximize the eectiveness of your engagement. While the Heroes MAKE America Patriot Underwriter is highly customizable, the following list includes some examples of engagement: Premier corporate recognition at an exclusive on-base employer event to acknowledge your company and open positions, conducted in partnership with the Soldier for Life oice and other locations as appropriate Premier speaker slots in each class of students Premier speaker slot at a launch event (Launch events are expected to draw national media exposure and VIP attendees, including federal and state elected oicials and administration-/cabinet-level oicials.) 4 Four Star Underwriter: $175,000 (Limited Availability) A Heroes MAKE America Four Star Underwriter will have the opportunity to sponsor two classes of an existing Heroes MAKE America training program in a single year. The Four Star Underwriter will be positioned as a leader in the industry for supporting our nation s service members as they transition to rewarding manufacturing careers. Your company will be recognized in national media and on social media in partnership with The Manufacturing Institute. The Manufacturing Institute will consult with your marketing and communications teams regarding such recognition to maximize the eectiveness of your engagement. 5 Three Star Sponsorship: $125,000 (Limited Availability) Heroes MAKE America Three Star sponsors will have the opportunity to co-sponsor Heroes MAKE America Military-to- Manufacturing forums in up to three regional locations per year. These forums bring manufacturers of all sizes together to learn best practices and connect with educational and military organizations to create opportunities for hiring and retaining veterans. The Three Star Sponsor will partner with The Manufacturing Institute to design the program content and identify speakers, event locations and dates. The Manufacturing Institute will consult with your marketing and communications teams regarding such recognition to maximize the eectiveness of your engagement. 6 Two Star Sponsorship: $50,000 (Limited Availability) Heroes MAKE America Two Star sponsors will have the opportunity to sponsor our newly developed online veterans community. Sponsorship benefits include an opportunity to feature thought leadership from your existing veteran leaders and to highlight your own corporate veterans programming. Additionally, sponsorship will include premier logo placement in the online community and on The Manufacturing Institute s Heroes MAKE America homepage. The Two Star Sponsor will be positioned as a leader in driving continuous engagement, communication and networking in an online environment for our Heroes MAKE America participants. The communities will be developed to help ease the transition for veterans into the private sector and manufacturing community and will build on company best practices for engagement and transition. The platform will feature custom communication channels, best practices and moderated discussions to continue to grow participation. Additionally, each community will be custom designed to fit participants needs for example, mentoring matches for veterans, training and engagement activities and skills translation and transition support for veterans. Additionally, the One Star Sponsor will have premier signage at the networking events. The One Star Sponsor will be viewed as a company that backs up its commitment to hiring veterans with action by bringing manufacturers together for an event that drives participation, communication and job oers. The Manufacturing Institute will consult with your marketing and communications teams regarding such recognition to maximize the eectiveness of your engagement.
