5 5. The Picture Story of the Three Little Pigs Look at the pictures and listen to the story. One little pig makes a house out of straw. The wolf blows the straw house down. One little pig makes a house out of wood. The wolf blows the wooden house down. One little pig makes a house out of bricks. The wolf cannot blow the brick house down. The wolf climbs down the chimney. He burns his bottom! The wolf runs away. The pigs are very happy.

6 6. The Story of the Three Little Pigs Listen to the story of the three little pigs. Once upon a time there were three little pigs. The three little pigs all decide to build a house. The first little pig builds his house out of straw. A big, bad wolf comes and says, Little pig, little pig, let me come in. But the little pig says, Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin! I will not let you in! So the wolf says, Then I will huff and I will puff and I will blow your house down! The third little pig is very clever and he builds his house out of bricks. Again, the wolf comes and says, Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in. But the little pigs say, Not by the hairs on our chinny, chin, chins! We will not let you in! So the wolf says, Then I will huff and I will puff and I will blow your house down! So the wolf huffs and he puffs and he huffs and he puffs but he cannot blow the house down! So the wolf huffs and he puffs and he blows the house down. The first little pig is very frightened and he runs all the way to the second little pig s house. The second little pig builds his house out of wood. Again, the wolf comes and says, Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in. But the little pigs say, Not by the hairs on our chinny, chin, chins! We will not let you in! So the wolf says, Then I will huff and I will puff and I will blow your house down! The big, bad wolf climbs up onto the roof of the house and starts to climb down the chimney. The three little pigs make a big fire in the fireplace. When the wolf comes down the chimney he lands in the hot fire and burns his bottom! Ouch! Oww owww owooooh! says the big, bad wolf. He jumps up and runs away. He never comes back again. The little pigs live happily ever after, in the little house made of bricks. So the wolf huffs and he puffs and he blows the house down. The two little pigs are very frightened and they runs all the way to the third little pig s house.

7 7. The Picture Story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff Look at the pictures and listen to the story. 1 2 These are the three billy goats Gruff. The goats want to eat grass A hungry troll lives under the bridge. Little goat goes over the bridge. Trip Trap! Middle goat goes over the bridge. Trip Trap! Big goat goes over the bridge. Trip Trap! Big goat knocks the troll high up into the air! The goats live happily ever after.

8 8. The Story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff Listen to the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff. The goats think of a plan! Aha! First, Little Billy Goat Gruff goes over the bridge... TRIP TRAP TRIP TRAP TRIP TRAP. Aha! Little goat yum yum! says the troll. Oh no I am very little. Middle Billy Goat is bigger! says the little goat. Hmm - I am very hungry. Good idea! says the troll. Once upon a time there were three goats. They were called the Billy Goats Gruff. Little Billy Goat Gruff, Middle Billy Goat Gruff and, Big Billy Goat Gruff. The goats love to eat grass. Grass - Yum, yum! Over the bridge there is lots of lovely, green grass. But under the bridge lives a troll. A very hungry troll. The troll loves to eat goats. Goats. Yum, Yum, YUM! The goats want to eat grass. Grass - yum, yum, yum! But the troll wants to eat goats. Goats yum, yum, yum! The middle goat goes over the bridge... TRIP TRAP TRIP TRAP TRIP TRAP. Aha! middle goat yum yum! says the troll. Oh no I am too small. Big Billy Goat is bigger! says the middle goat. Hmm - I am very hungry. Good idea! says the troll. The big goat goes over the bridge... TRIP TRAP TRIP TRAP. Aha! big goat yum yum! says the troll. Yes, I am Big Billy Goat Gruff and this is for you! says the big goat. The big goat charges and knocks the troll high up into the air so far that he is never seen again! And the three Billy Goats Gruff? They cross the bridge. TRIP TRAP TRIP TRAP TRIP TRAP Grass yum, yum, YUM! And they all live happily ever after.
