3 A. REGISTRATION Ø Registration process Online entries are made through the website. It is necessary to create a rider profile directly on the website. Then the registration form has to be filled in online. For minors, parental permission is required and must be uploaded on the website while registering. Without authorization, on-line registration will not be taken into account. The registration fee will be directly paid online via PayPal. You will find the registration section at this link: In case you have already been at a FISE event or already got an account and if you have lost your password to log in on your rider profile, do not hesitate to contact our FISE Sports Team at contest@fise.fr. Online registration will be closed 2 weeks before the start of the event. After October the 15 th, online registration will not be possible. A valid cycling license, as defined in Part I of the UCI Regulations will be required and must be presented at riders confirmation to check their identity. An identity card or passport is also mandatory. Once all the terms of the registration are completed, the organization will give riders a wristband allowing them to enter the competition area. It is imperative that all the riders keep their band throughout the event, otherwise the access to the park will be denied. Entry in the competition implies agreement with the event schedule, regulations and all provisions of the Technical Guide. «No further entries shall be accepted following the end of riders confirmation. Likewise, any riders who entered but did not attend riders confirmation, shall be removed from the list of entries and not allowed to start. Every participant shall follow the directions of the organization and appointed officials, and any penalties that may be applied. Ø JUDGING CRITERIA The performance of each rider is judged on overall impression including, but not limited to: - Difficulty - Height - Flow - Originality - Versatility - Style - Consistency - Variety of tricks - Control of the tricks - Bike control - Landings - Use of the course - Execution - Progression The overall composition of the runs is most important as the judges evaluate the sequences of tricks, the amount of risk in the routine, and how the rider uses the course. 15 Ø CHENGDU 成都 Chengdu is the capital of the province of Sichuan and one of the most dynamic places in Western China. It is the first Chinese town to be twinned with a European city, and is accustomed to hosting national and international events, as FISE. It is the first chinese city to be twinned with a french one (22/06/1981) which is Montpellier (France) the known city for the biggest stop of FISE World Series. Province : Sichuan - This Province is the place to see the famous giant pandas. Inhabitants : Area : 3,680 square kilometers Climate : The annual average temperature in Chengdu about 16 C (61 F). The hottest time is July and August, with the highest temperature reaching 37 C (99 F). The coldest month is January, with its lowest temperature dropping to -6 C (21 F). Subway : Bus : Bikes : The city is well deserved with 6 metro lines across the city. Bus transit is the most important mode of public transport in Chengdu. There are more than 400 bus lines in Chengdu with nearly 12,000 buses in total. Bus cards are available that permit free bus changes for three hours. More than bikes are available in the city. 17 Ø SHUTTLES Shuttle buses will be available from October the 29 th to November the 1 st for invited rider s arrivals. From Chengdu Airport to Sunshine Hotel (no other stops possible). From 10.00am to 01.00am. Also, shuttles will be available each day from the official hotel to the event. Please let us know when you arrive at the airport. Send your travel details at shuttles@fise.fr at least 4 days before your trip. In case of a delayed plane, canceled plane or other difficulties with your trip, please contact shuttles@fise.fr. In case you arrival or departure date is not included in thoses dates, other ways of transportation are available from the airport : Taxi The taxi fare is about CNY from the Airport to North Railway Station, about CNY60 to East Railway Station, and about CNY20-30 to South Railway Station. Usually, you can negotiate the price with the taxi driver. The acceptable bargain price is about CNY50 by taxi to the city center area. Train Train is easily accessible for passengers to go to the two railway stations in the city. It takes about 10 minutes to South Railway Station and 16 minutes to East Railway Station. Airport Shuttles There are several shuttle buses running to the downtown area of the city. Metro to city center Line 10 of the metro is accessible at T1 & T2 of Shuangliu International Airport.
