STEP 2 STEP 1 STEP 3 IMS Radio Network is providing daily reports and event promos as MP3 files on the internet. Stations may download the files from: Register for access. The simple process will take less then one minute. Log in using your personal username and password. Click to TV/Radio at top right and select IMS Radio Network from drop down menu. Formats and additional informa-tion are available, as well as daily audio reports and promos. Follow the instructions on the screen. These files must be downloaded to your computer before you will be able to play them. The files are MP3 so your Windows Media Player should be able to play them for you. If you don t have an MP3 player, a quick search and download from the internet should solve that. The files should replay in CD-quality audio. TO STATIONS ONLY CARRYING THE RACE: We strongly suggest that you tune your satellite receiver to one of the pre-race programs on Thursday or Saturday to verify your station s ability to receive the IMS Network feeds over XDS. All programs will be available by dial-up. DIAL-UP SERVICE: Stations requiring dial-up feeds must call (800) Payment is by credit card only. Enter your credit card information when prompted. Upon approval, your station will be connected to the program feed at a cost of 20 cents per minute, billed to the station s credit card. If you don t want station staff to use a credit card, you must establish an account by calling TRZ Communications at (800) at least two (2) days prior to broadcast date to setup an account code. You will be required to provide a credit card number when applying for your account code. After obtaining your account code, stations will call (800) to access the feeds at station s cost. Enter your account code when prompted. The station will be connected to the program feed at a cost of 20 cents per minute billed, after the race, to the credit card you provided when establish-ing your account. 3

3 Cumulus Media xds NETQUES PROGRAM AUTOMATION NOW AVAILABLE The IMS Radio Network is now offering program automation through your Cumulus XDS XDS Receivers have Netque Cards built-in and you can program the I.M.S. netques into your receiver via the Cumulus XDS receiver web page. CUMULUS (XDS) has plenty of information. And if that is not enough, XDS has actual people that can answer questions (that being their Affiliate Technical Services Department)! The way to access the information quickly and efficiently is to visit their website which has links to PDF quick guides, primers, directions, etc. Your station can find those documents by visiting this page on their website: Scroll down the page and the links will appear in orange. The station should read the Schedule Primer. This document has step-by-step instructions with screen shots of how to schedule the receiver. Other recommended reading for starting out are Special Events Scheduler and Netcues. There are also other pages on the website which provide helpful information, too. So, the stations should take a moment and investigate the website. If all that fails, the sta-tion can contact our Affiliate Technical Services Department at (212) , option 4.
