(6) Weigh Station: Frank Adamson, David Stuart Media Manager: Cole Hitchcock 1.5 CIRCUIT DETAILS Track Length: kilometres Direction: Anti-Clockwise Track Density: Supercars Notice Board: Located on the ground floor of Tower 3, facing the Supercars Paddock Stewards Office: Located on the 2 nd floor of Tower DRD Office: Located on the 2 nd floor of Tower Control Line: Is located at the Finish Line and across the Pit Entry. 2.1 ENTRIES ADMINISTRATION Competitors must have completed the 2018 Supercars Entry Registration Form Administration checking will commence at 0900hrs (AEST) on Wednesday 3 rd October Any Competitors that need to change or add any details contained in their 2018 Entry Registration Form must do so at the Supercars Operations Transporter prior to the commencement of the Competitor s Authorised Representatives Briefing on Wednesday 3 rd October No change of Drivers will be accepted later than 1745hrs (AEST) on Wednesday 3 rd October 2018 unless exceptional circumstances, as determined by the Stewards, warrant a change after that time Any Competitor that has cross entered Drivers, must nominate their final Car Driver pairing prior to 1700hrs (AEST) on Thursday 4 th October ACCREDITATION CARDS (PASSES) & TEAM PARKING The Series Accreditation Cards will be recognised by the Organisers Accreditation will be required from Wednesday 3 rd October Virgin Australia Supercars Championship Supplementary Regulations Page 2 of 13

3 2.2.3 Each entry will be allocated 4 VIP car parking passes to park in the Harris Park car park located in front of the general admission car park. All other Team vehicles will be permitted to park in the general admission car park Each caterer will be allocated 1 transit car pass for delivery purposes only. Cars with this pass must park in the general admission car park. Any vehicles in the paddock will be towed. 2.3 ACCREDITATION CENTRE OPENING HOURS The Accreditation centre is located in the main Car Park to the right off Panorama Ave The Accreditation centre will be open at the following times (all times are AEST unless stated otherwise): Monday 1 st Wednesday 3 rd October Thursday 4 th October Friday 5 th October Saturday 6 th October Sunday 7 th October (AEDT) 3.1 SCRUTINEERING TECHNICAL Scrutineering will commence at 0730hrs (AEST) on Thursday 4 th October MINIMUM WEIGHT In accordance with the requirements of Rule C4.1.1, all additional Drivers that have not competed in a race of the 2018 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship, will be required for weighing by Supercars Officials at 0830hrs (AEST) on Thursday 4 th October 2018, in the Supercars Scales Garage. 3.3 FRONT BRAKE DISCS Delete the Front Brake Discs and Brake Bobbins listed in Schedule C1 5. Brake System and replace them with the new Front Brake Discs and Brake Bobbins as detailed below that must be used at this Event: 5. 4 4.2 DRIVER CONDITIONS POLICY In accordance with Rule D3.4.4, the nearest Town or City to the Circuit, as listed by the Bureau of Meteorology is Bathurst TYRE FITTING, ALLOCATION AND USAGE Control tyre fitting will commence from 0900hrs (AEST) on Wednesday 3 rd October 2018 in the Dunlop garages located in the Supercars paddock. 4.4 CARS TO CARRY VIDEO RECORDERS Further to Rule D , SD cards must be cleared and reformatted prior to the 40- minute signal for race 25 on Sunday 7 th October 2018, however, must not be cleared prior to 30 minutes after the completion of Sunday s warm up, without the prior written permission of the S&TD. 4.5 BRIEFINGS A briefing for all Competitor s Authorised Representatives will be held at 1745hrs (AEST) on Wednesday 3 rd October 2018 in the Briefing Room, located adjacent to the Scrutineering Bay in the Supercars Paddock area A briefing for all Competitors and Drivers will be held at 1300hrs (AEST) on Friday 5 th October 2018 in the Briefing Room, located adjacent to the Scrutineering Bay in the Supercars Paddock area A Refuelling Safety Briefing will be held at 1730hrs (AEST) on Friday 5 th October 2018 in the Briefing Room, located adjacent to the Scrutineering Bay in the Supercars paddock area. Attendance for the following Team personnel is compulsory for each Car: The refuelling hose operator The fire extinguisher operator The deadman handle operator The Authorised Representative An attendance sheet must be signed by each Team member detailed in above Any Team member detailed in who does not attend at the prescribed time and for the duration of the Briefing will: Be referred to the Stewards; and Be required to attend a Briefing at a time and place advised by the Stewards. 4.6 PRACTICE All Drivers are permitted to drive in practice 1, 3, 5 and Only additional Drivers are permitted to drive in practice 2 and The Stewards may, in their absolute discretion, order that a Driver who has not completed a suitable number of laps in practice 1, 2 or 3 combined, be required to drive the Car in another Session or Sessions. This decision of the Stewards is not susceptible to appeal The use of Refuelling Towers is permitted during practice During practice 6, Cars are required to parallel park in their Pit Bay. 4.7 START PROCEDURE Delete Rules D8.3.1, D , D8.3.2, D , D8.3.3 and D and replace with the following: D8.3.1 Thirty Forty Minutes: D When minutes remain before the formation lap, a warning will be sounded. Fifteen Twenty-Five minutes: When minutes remain before the formation lap, a warning will be sounded. 4.8 PIT STOPS DRIVER CHANGE When stopping to change Drivers and when the Car is in the Pit Lane (40km/h section), the Driver may only loosen the shoulder straps provided they remain substantially in place over the shoulders. 4.9 PIT STOPS PERSONNEL FRONT BRAKE ROTOR CHANGE Each Car may be attended by a maximum of ten (10) people (the Designated Pit Crew ) as follows, who are only permitted across the Prescribed Line when carrying out a front brake rotor change in the race: D One (1) Car Controller D One (1) Air Jack Operator D One (1) Refueler/Vent Attendant D One (1) Fire Attendant D Six (6) Other Team members When carrying out any other Pit Stop in the race, the requirements of Rule D remain unchanged FUEL LEVEL ADVISER At this Event, the Fuel Level Advisor (person who is monitoring the amount of fuel being transferred to the Car), must be attired in accordance with the requirements of Rule D ACCESS TO PADDOCK OPERATIONS The set-up of the Supercars paddock will be at the discretion of Supercars Paddock Manager or their delegate Transporters (including prime movers) must only be parked in the Supercars Paddock Transporters must not enter the Circuit before 1600hrs (AEST) on Monday 1 st October Transporter park up on Monday 1 st October 2018 is permitted only between 1600hrs and 1800hrs (AEST) Transporter park up will resume at 0830hrs (AEST) on Tuesday 2 nd October Transporters must not be unloaded prior to 1000hrs (AEST) on Tuesday 2 nd October Teams are not permitted to set up any equipment in their Pit Garage prior to the designated time to unload Transporters With the exception of 2.2.4, no passenger vehicles are to enter the Supercars paddock from 0830hrs (AEST) on Tuesday 2 nd October Passenger vehicles with a transit pass will be permitted to enter the paddock on a short-term basis but will be required to park in the general admission car park Approved and accredited Team motorhomes are not permitted to enter the paddock until after 1400hrs (AEST) on Wednesday 2 nd October Motorhomes that arrive at the Circuit prior to the time listed above, will be permitted to park in the support category car park on the outside of the Circuit, access off Ray Bant Drive. 6 Those vehicles with a transit pass can access the Supercars paddock by: If the Circuit is open: passing through the admission entry gates and reverse direction along Conrod Straight, then right into the paddock via the gate prior to the ARMOR ALL bridge. To avoid unnecessary delays, please use this entry where possible If the Circuit is closed: along Panorama Driver towards the Circuit. Once at the Panorama Drive roundabout, turn left and enter Gate 1, which passes through the Chase tunnel and into the paddock area. NOTE: The tunnel is 3.1 metres high by 2.7 metres wide Vehicles without a car pass will not be permitted entry. 5.2 EVENT GATE ACCESS TIMES FOR TEAMS The following gate access times are permitted during the Event (all times are AEST unless stated otherwise): Thursday 4 th October 0545 hrs Friday 5 th October 0600 hrs Saturday 6 th October 0600 hrs Sunday 7 th October 0500 hrs (AEDT) 5.3 TRANSPORTER PARADE The transporter parade will be held on Wednesday 3 rd October Below is the times and route of the parade: hrs (AEST): Transporters to begin arriving from Mount Panorama along Havannah Street, facing the Great Western Highway intersection for parade start. Stop at transporter marshalling point. Competition winners arrive at transporter marshalling point hrs (AEST): Competition winners to be in trucks. Police in position hrs (AEST): Parade commences along Great Western Highway (Kendal Avenue), continuing past Durham Street, turning left into William Street, continuing to Mount Panorama The right-hand lane of the highway will remain open to traffic throughout the parade, therefore, transporters must remain in the left-hand lane. 5.4 RACE TRACK WALK Teams are permitted to conduct a Race Track walk on Wednesday 3 rd October 2018 between 1200hrs and 1700hrs (AEST) The Race Track will still be a public road at this time, so please keep to one side where possible. 5.5 TRANSPORTER DEPARTURE AFTER THE EVENT Unless otherwise advised by the Supercars Paddock Manager or their delegate, no Team transporter will be permitted to move from its allocated position or leave the Supercars paddock prior to two (2) hours after the completion of Race 25 on Sunday 7 th October 2018 (AEDT). 6.1 PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE MARKETING Teams must adhere to the activities outlined in the promotional schedule and/or any subsequent updates as provided by the Supercars Media and Promotions Department. 7 6.1.2 The Primary Driver and additional Driver will be required at the front of the grid prior to race 25 at 1055hrs (AEDT) on Sunday 7 th October GRID WALK Where permitted, movement of non-team personnel on and off the grid must only be via the point/s as described in the Competitor s Authorised Representatives Briefing instructions Promotional staff, Drivers and crew (up to 8 people per Car) are the only people permitted on the grid in addition to those that are wearing a grid sticker. 7.1 EVENT OPERATING HOURS SPECIFIC CIRCUIT SAFETY REQUIREMENTS The Event operating hours for the purpose of Rule E2 are as follows (all times are AEST unless stated otherwise): Thursday 4 th October Friday 5 th October Saturday 6 th October Sunday 7 th October 0730 after race 25 (AEDT) 7.2 MEDICAL SERVICES The Medical Centre is located at Pit Entry and will be operational during the following times (all times are AEST unless stated otherwise): Wednesday 3 rd October Thursday 4 th October Friday 5 th October Saturday 6 th October Sunday 7 th October (AEDT) Any medical assistance that is required outside of the operating hours outlined in 7.2.1, please contact 000. 8 7.6 SITE SAFETY ADVISOR The site safety advisor for this Event is: Name: David Wilde Mobile Number: VENUE SECURITY The 24-hour security phone number is TRUCK WASHING Transporters must not be washed in the paddock. 7.9 WASTE PRODUCTS All personnel must be made aware of the fact the NO waste of any nature may be tipped into the storm water drains located with the support compound All storm water drains lead directly to the Macquarie River and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will be monitoring the situation in the lead up and throughout the Event This ban includes the washing of any wheel rims within the vicinity of storm water drains Competitors are advised that the EPA is taking an extremely proactive approach to this matter and Teams are put on notice that any infringement of this directive will result in action being taken by either the Promoter or the EPA or both. The EPA has the ability to prosecute offenders with heavy penalties The Promoter has provided an area for disposal of waste oil and/or fluid products that are located near the Circuit fuel bund. This is not for the disposal of used Car parts (i.e. oil filters etc.) HEALTH AND SAFETY In line with the New South Wales Health and Safety Act, the Supercars Paddock will be a smoke-free zone for the duration of the Event UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES (UAV) PROHIBITION Be advised that the use (operation) of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), drones, or other similar devices, by any Competitor, Team, Team member or person/s associated with a Team or Competitor is prohibited This prohibition extends for the period of the Event defined as the Event period over the Event area defined as the Event area It also includes the prohibition of the use (operation) of any unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), drone or similar device from outside the declared area of the Event over the declared area during the Event period A breach of this prohibition will result in the exclusion from the Event for any offending Competitor and or Team and Driver/s. All credentials or admission tickets issued to any offending Competitor or Team, and associated personnel will also be withdrawn. The prohibition and Penalty for a breach of same as outlined above, is in addition to any Penalty/Penalties that may occur as a result of breaching Civil Aviation Authority (CASA) regulations in relation to the use of UAVs in controlled airspace, and over areas containing significant numbers of people.
