They are taking a strong focus on developing their winter sports culture, with the goal of introducing winter sports to more than 300 million people. This is why the government of Finland has developed the Finnish Winter Sport Cluster, which will push Finnish winter sports expertise and products forward with the help of Finnish municipalities and Chinese central and regional governments. The Beijing Olympics House will serve as the main office and showroom for the cluster during the next Olympiad. The main office will be accompanied by several branch offices around strategic locations across China. A full-time Chinese staff will ensure constant local presence, allowing for smoother communication within the cluster.
