2 A ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY China is the fastest growing WINTER sports market in the world, with an enormous number of potential customers. They are taking a strong focus on developing their winter sports culture, with the goal of introducing winter sports to more than 300 million people. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for winter sport businesses. Entering the Chinese market can be hard. This is why the government of Finland has developed the Finnish Winter Sport Cluster, which will push Finnish winter sports expertise and products forward with the help of Finnish municipalities and Chinese central and regional governments. The Cluster will be represented in strategic locations across China through office network. Chinese staff will ensure constant local presence, allowing for smoother communication within the cluster.
