4 The Cranberry Festival Rally Review WA Unit Fishing Rally May 7-16, 2019 Rally Hosts: Lee & Jan Wyman Paul & Charli Westerfield That happened Oct. 12 &13 It got off to a great start with 21 Airstreams and Argosies and 41 attendees. We had great weather, in the 60 s every day. We were camped at Kenanna RV in Grayland. The festival is centered around the cranberry harvest which was in full swing. I don t think anyone knew how much acreage is planted in cranberries or how they harvested them. Everyone did a self guided tour of the fields and went to the community center on Saturday for the craft booths, music, tours and food. The Firefly Parade on Saturday night was short, 15 minutes, but fun. All the floats were lit up for night viewing. We had crowded happy hours and fire pit evenings, every day. Thanks to Gloyd and Jean Dearth, the Good Sam Wagonmaster, for having the Good Sam campout at Kenanna the same week as our rally, and all the attendees for their help in setting up and cleanup.
