1 2019 FIM RALLY SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS Reg. 1 Organization The 2019 FIM Rally is organised by: association»fim RALLY TOURING 74«on behalf of Danmarks Motor Union (hereafter known as DMU). The event will be held from 31 th July 2019 to 2 th of August 2019 according to the FIM Code for Touristic Gatherings (hereafter known as CTG) Category 1.1 FIM Rally section; to the FIM Regulations, FMNR Regulations and to these Supplementary Regulations. Reg. 2 Participation in the Rally According to Art. 2.2 of the General Part of the CTG and Art. 2 of the category 1.1 of the CTG. Reg. 3 Entries Reg. 3.1 Individual entries will be made on the form made available for this purpose (or the duplicate) which will be delivered to the FMNs by the organizer (Art. 3 of the category 1.1 of the CTG). 2 2019 FIM RALLY SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS The FMNs will submit completed entry forms to the organizer after verification (see address in Reg.1.1). Reg. 3.2 The FMNs will also prepare a digital list which should be submitted to organisers using the address listed in Reg The list can be prepared in following ways: By filling the Excel sheet which is sent included in info/invitation materials By using the on-line FIM Touring Event Registration System on o NOTE: In order to use the on-line system, FMN or appointed National Delegate should contact CTL in order to receive login details, otherwise one should use the supplied Excel sheet In this list, please also supply the name, license number and address of the National Delegate (IMPORTANT!) Reg. 4 Entry Fee The entry fee is fixed by the Federation of the participant. It is composed of the organiser s fee of 175 Euros ( ) plus any administrative expenses which may be added by the FMN. The amount is fixed in Euros ( ). The transfer costs are to be paid by expeditor. Children between the ages of 8 and 12 will pay 50% of the adult entrance fee. Children under the age of 8 will be admitted free of charge. 3 2019 FIM RALLY SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS All payments will be made in Euros ( ) or local currency equivalent only. The transfer costs are to be paid by the sender. The organizer reserves the right to decline entries after the closing date for entries. If the organiser should accept entries after the closing date for entries, a surcharge of up to 25% to the entry fee may be imposed. If the organiser should accept entries made at the venue of the meeting, a surcharge of 25% will be imposed. Reg. 5 Closing date for entries The deadline for the entries and the booking of the accommodation is 12 th of April Reg. 6 Gifts, souvenirs and services for the participants Every participant who has paid the entry fee through FMNs will receive as a minimum the benefits listed in Art. 4 of category 1.1of the CTG. Reg. 7 Accommodation 100% of the campsite booking fee will be paid with the registration. 100% of the hotel booking fee will be paid with the registration. The hotel or camping bookings will be made on the accommodation booking form. The amounts due for the accommodation will be paid at the same time as the registration fee, i.e. by 12 th of April 2019 to the bank account quoted in Reg. 4. All payments will be made in Euros ( ) or local currency equivalent only. The transfer costs are to be paid by the sender. Reg. 8 Optional Excursions Bookings for optional excursions must be made at the same time as the registration on the special form provided. These trips are also to be paid for at the same time as the entry (by 12 th of April 2019). See Appendix A. Reg. 9 Welcome / Administrative Centre FIM Rally 2019 SR, 21 November

4 2019 FIM RALLY SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS The Welcome/Administrative Centre will be open: from 29 rd of July 2018 to 3 th of August Address: Roskilde Dyrskueplads, Darupvej 19, DK 4000 Roskilde Coordinatees: N ' E Welcome/Administrative Centre open hours: 29 nd of July 2019 from AM to PM 30 rd of July 2019 from AM to PM 31 th of July 2019 from AM to PM 01 th of August 2019 from AM to PM 02 th of August 2019 from AM to PM 03 th of August 2019 from AM to PM On arrival day, each participant will receive information concerning the gathering place from which each national team will pass by the Arrival Control. The entry papers, vehicles and IDs of the participants (with picture) will be checked at the Welcome Centre upon arrival. The FIM Meritum and Co-Meritum stamps will be distributed at this time. After successful participant identification, participant classification card, (similar to their ID card, but used for classification) will be put in the results box to be used for classification and results. Participants not affiliated to FMNs or their delegated bodies will not be classified. Final date/time for classification entries will be decided by the FIM Jury President. If there would be any problem with participant classification, the problem should be solved according to the CTG between FMN National Delegate and the members of FIM CTL Results Team. Reg. 10 Arrival Control The Arrival Control will be operational on 31 th of July 2019 from AM to 4:00 PM it will be held at a point notified in the Welcome Pack. Neither copies nor the original entry forms will be accepted or counted for the classification at Arrival Control. Late arrivals should first report to the Welcome Centre. Classification entries are going to be handled in welcome centre (not at arrival control!) according to the Reg. 9 FIM Rally 2019 SR, 21 November

5 2019 FIM RALLY SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS Reg. 11 Arrival Park After the control, the motorbikes should stay in the Arrival Park until the last nation has entered the Park. Participants may leave the Arrival Park but it will stay secured until 4:00 PM. Reg. 12 Results and Classification According to Art. 8 of category 1.1 of the CTG. Reg. 13 Disqualification Participants may be officially disqualified at the discretion of the Executive Committee of the meeting if necessary. Reg. 14 Prize-Giving Ceremony According to Art. 13 of category 1.1 of the CTG. This will take place on the evening of 2nd of August However, the Inter-Club prizes will be awarded on the second evening. Reg. 15 National Delegates Each participating FMN should nominate one delegate holder of a Tourism Steward s licence. The nomination shall be made in writing to the organiser at least 15 days before the meeting (See Art. 8 of Appendix C of the CTG (Executive Committee of a meeting). Communication from participants to Executive Commitee and FIM CTL Results Team should be channelled through National Delegates. See also Reg. 3.2 of these S.R. Reg. 16 Cancellation of meeting According to Art. 2.7 of the General Part of the CTG. The organiser can cancel the meeting:if, at the closing date, the number of entries is below 850. in the case of absolute necessity In the case of cancellation of the meeting, the participants who transmitted their entry forms and funds before the closing entry date, will be notified and reimbursed through their FMN. 6 2019 FIM RALLY SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS Reg. 17 General Hotel and campsite accommodations have limited number of places in each category. Priority is given to earlier entries. Hotel categories and alternative accommodation (at the campsite) are specified in Annex of these S.R. Only participants who have booked their accommodation via the organiser will be allowed to use the official shuttlebus. In case of individual registration cancelling, it shall be made through the FMN of the participant and shall be sent to the Organiser using contact details as specified in Reg. 1.1 ( is preferred). If the cancellation is sent: at latest 30 th of April o In this case 90% of the registration fee will be refunded. between the 1 st of May and the 14 th of June o In this case 50% will be refunded after 14 th of June o no refund is possible Reg. 18 Liability of the Authorities, Organisers and Participants According to Art. 4 of the General Part of the CTG. Reg. 19 Rider Conduct and Protection of the Environment Participants of the FIM Rally are motorcyclist ambassadors for their country and are expected to consider other road users in accordance with Art. 3 of the General Part of the CTG. Recommendations to Road Users Show respect on the roads Individual motorcyclists should develop riding habits to ensure full integration with other types of road users. Ride safely and avoid aggressive and competitive riding. Use only routes which are open to motorcyclists. Ride like a professional by riding at a quiet and unobtrusive pace when riding in groups. 7 2019 FIM RALLY SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS Noise annoyance Ride politely and limit noise pollution by using your horn only in an emergency. Use a standard or another quiet exhaust system and keep audio systems at a low level. Environmental care Save petrol and reduce pollution by avoiding unnecessary idling of engines. Respect nature by not travelling on paths which risk being damaged beyond a point of natural recovery. Protect wildlife and its natural habitat by riding intelligently. Ensure that your used oil, tyres, batteries and other recyclable items are properly recycled. Encourage a rational use of fuel and space economy by using motorcycles instead of driving automobiles. 11 FIM RALLY 2019 APPENDIX A Arrival and departure Camping The camping site is open from Monday 29 nd of July from AM to Saturday 03 th of August AM. Service on the site will be limited from 29 nd. to 30. th July. You can buy food and drinks in the vicinity of the place and bring them into the Rally site. Use of open fire is not allowed. Festihuits, Tenthouse and Greenwell Lodge Extra accommodation as Festihuits, Tenthouse and Greenwell Lodge will be available from Monday 29 nd of July from AM to Saturday 03 th of August AM. Festihuits, Tenthouses and Greenwell Lodge are offered only for five days. Breakfast from arrival date to departure date for 8 EUR extra per participant per day. To prevent misunderstandings, the booking of Festihuits, Tenthouses and Greenwell Lodge shall be done via Booking will be after principle: First come first served. Toilet, bathroom and laundry are shared with the other participants. Hotels The hotels are divided according to their location and services. Hotels are available from Monday 29 nd of July from AM to Saturday 03 th of August. Credit cards must be used when checking in. Hotel in Category C is offered for 4 Days from Tuesday 30 th July to Saturday 03 th of August. Accommodation for Monday 29 nd of July from to Tuesday 30 h July is selected on the Accommodation Form. Accommodation HOTEL A Double bed Rooms Price 160 EUR price per room per night including breakfast. Rooms in Modern décor and design. Close to Roskilde Fjord, some rooms have Fjord views. It is in Quiet Area. Service 24/7. Good Restaurant, bar, fitness, table football, billiards, cozy terrace and Atrium. Public transportation to and from Roskilde Station is available. 12 Accommodation HOTEL B Single/Double/bed Rooms Price 110/124 EUR price per room per night including breakfast. Close to Roskilde city center and train station or close to the Rally Site and highway. Standard Rooms in good quality and well organized. Restaurant, bar, fitness, Terrace, possibility of rent of bike, Service 24/7. Accommodation HOTEL C* (Doubles/beds Rooms) Price for 4 nights is 480 EUR. Price120 EUR price per room per night including breakfast. Close to Rally site. Operation of daytime and 24/7 staff by FIM volunteers. Nice rooms and relaxing areas. Good breakfast. You are allowed to bring food and drinks and enjoy on site. * Hotel in Category C is offered for 4 Days from Tuesday 30 th July to Saturday 03 th of August. Extra accommodation for Monday 29 nd of July from to Tuesday 30 h July is selected on the Accommodation Form. Festihuits 660 EUR for 5 days + breakfast at 8 EUR per day/person. Up till 4 persons in at Fetihuit. A Festihuits is a small movable tree house with lockable door and a small window. Festihuts is equipped with Bunk Bed and mattresses. There is room for 4 people in a Festihuit. Toilet, bathroom and sinks are shared with the other participants. Not in Festihuits Sheets, duvets sleeping bag etc. Tenthouse 210 EUR for 5 days + breakfast at 8 EUR per day/person. Up to 2 persons in Tenthouse. Tenthouse is a tent-trailer with room for 2 people. Tenthouse have lockable entrance, 135 x 200 cm mattress, good room for luggage a Safety Box For storage. Toilet, bathroom and sinks are shared with the other participants. Not in Tenthouse Sheets, duvets sleeping bag etc. Two Small Padlocks In a size suitable for a Zipper. Small, Medium-sized and large padlocks for locking Safety box. Greenwell Lodge 320 for 5 days + breakfast at 8 EUR per day/person. Up to 2 persons in Greenwell Lodge. Greenwell Lodge is hut with cover as roof, W:150cm- L:240cm H:190cm. Your tickets are provided at the Welcome Centre, Darupvej 19, 4000 Roskilde from Monday 29 nd of July 2 from 12:00. AM Please note that the first sailing trip on Monday 29 h of July is at 14:00 PM. Baggage and clothing can be stored under the supervision of FIM volunteers by the Viking Ship Museum. To prevent misunderstandings, the booking of Viking ships shall be done via Booking will be after principle: First come first served. Meeting Place 10 minutes before the voyage: Museumsøen, by the Vikingship Museum at Vindeboder 12, DK-4000 Roskilde Denmark. (4 km from Welcome Center). Important: To ensure navigation, participants must be able to Descend into the ship and help to row the ship along with the crew. Instruction is given in English and Danish. There is a Limited Number of seats for children over 4 years. Tour to Tivoli in Copenhagen Price 35 EUR The price covers the transport from Rally site/roskilde station to Tivoli in Copenhagen Entrance to Tivoli and back after the visit. When arriving at Tivoli, participants receive a stamp, so they are free to go in and out of Tivoli, if they want to experience Copenhagen on their own. 14 Boat trip with Restaurant ship M/S Saga fjord Price 25 EUR Food and drink are not included in the price The price covers the transfer from the rally site or hotel to M/S Saga Fjord, Vindeboder 18, 4000 Roskilde and return, and two hours sailing on Roskilde Fjord. It is possible to buy water, wine and food from the ship's restaurant during the voyage. It s not allowed to bring Your own Food and beverages at M/S Saga Fjord. Dogs are not allowed. Lunch can be bought on the tour. Participants are responsible for ensuring their own motorcycles during the voyages. The guides and crew will help with this.
