RIGHTS AND PROPERTY The Mediterranean Trophy for Cross-Country Rally is the exclusive property of the AMM which owns all rights relating thereto, present or future, including, without limitation, the rights to their organization, exploitation, broadcasting and reproduction by any means whatsoever. the AMM has decided to delegate its rights and powers to NPO Events in part, as a member of the Organizing Committee of the Trophy for a period of 3 years. This delegation is subject to a contract between the both sides. 2. PUBLICATION The Organizing Committee organize the 2014 Mediterranean Trophy for Cross-Country Rally (MTrophy Rally) on behalf on the Association Méditerranéenne de Motocyclisme. AMM visa 6 th February The event will be held in accordance with the FIM Sporting Code and its annexes, this supplementary regulation of the MTrophy Rally, and any final instructions approved by the International Jury. In case of dispute regarding the interpretation between the French and the English text, the French text will prevail. Any additional provision not mentioned by this MTrophy Rally Supplementary Regulations, will appear in numbered, dated and signed official additive. These additives will form an integral part of the Supplementary Regulations and will be transmitted to competitors. 3. LIST OF OFFICIALS The MTrophy Rally will rely on officials juries appointed at each event. The jury of the event will be charged for the MTrophy Rally to: - Check the list of entries of MTrophy Rally in the event, - Check at the end of the race, MTrophy Rally competitors results, - Publish and transmit these results to the orgazing comitee of the MTrophy Rally. - During the final, rewarding participants and winners present, in link with the official representative of the AMM. 3/11

The competitor entering the MTrophy Rally must comply with specific regulations and guidelines of the organizers of the 5 races. 4/11

5 7. COMPETITORS OF THE TROPHY 7.1 ENTRY CONDITIONS FOR THE COMPETITORS The Organising Committee reserves the right to refuse the entry of a competitor. To be registered to the MTrophy Rally 2014, - any person over 18 years, - Who s issu of a Federation member of the AMM : ALGERIE, ANDORRE, CROATIE, CHYPRE, EGYPTE, ESPAGNE, FRANCE, GRECE, ISRAEL, ITALIE, LIBAN, LYBIE, MALTE, MAROC, MONACO, MONTENEGRO, PALESTINE, PORTUGAL, SAINT-MARIN, SLOVENIE, TUNISIE, TURQUIE. - must hold an FIM rider s licence for the Cross-Country Rallies valid for the year of the event, or for This event specifically, released by his own National Federation, - holding a driving license corresponding to his motorcycle. - the pilot must provide a prouf of insurance for death and invalidity not less than for the Baja and the OiLibya Rally of Morocco, - holding a start permission from his own National Federation for the event. Riders on FIM reputation list, having won a world title in the three years 2011, 2012, 2013, and supported by a manufacturer directly, can not be classified in MTrophy Rally Any rider who is replaced by another one on his motorcycle during the race will be excluded from it, as well as the motorcycle of this last mentioned rider. The competitor enters the races into the MTrophy Rally 2014 at his own risk, being fully aware of the dangers associated with the event. For this reason, the competitor relieves the Organisers and the AMM from any penal and/or civil responsibility in case of physical and/or material damages incurred as a result of his participation in MTrophy Rally In accordance with the statutes of the AMM, the national member federations of the AMM, as well as those who are invited to participate in the Mediterranean Trophy Rally should constitute, organize and lead their respective delegations to the Trophy. National Federations are responsible for the behavior of members of their delegations. 7.2 ENTRIES Entry form are available from the NPO Competitors Department reachable by concurrents@npo.fr by phone: or by fax: They are available as well, on the website: To be considered by the organization committee, the entry must necessarily be the final names of participants, be signed with the words read and approved. By the act of affixing his signature on the entry form, the pilot submits to the sporting courts recognized by the International Sporting Code and this supplementary regulation of the MTrophy Rally. 7.3 DEAD-LINE FOR ENTRY Closure of entries to the MTrophy Rally are the following : The 3rd MARCH 2014, to enter the 5 races, The 1 st JULY 2014, to enter the 4 races : Spain, Greece and Morocco, The 15th AUGUST 2014, to enter the 3 races : Greece and Morocco, The 17th SEPTEMBER 2014 to enter only on the Moroccan races. 7.4 ENTRY FEES Entry fees for the pilot and his vehicles are the following: 5/11

Any violation will result in the exclusion of the competitor and Team. RATES are including: - Sporting rights for competitors, - Rental of security and navigation systems, - Professional medical service if needed, - Food (breakfast, ration and evening meal in hotels of organization for the Baja and the OiLibya Rally of Morocco), - Price giving ceremony for competitors present to the OiLibya Rally of Morocco, - ID bracelets and access to the rally, - Road-books and the rally guide, - Vehicle stickers for access to the bivouac and the service areas, - Organization fees RATES are excluding: - Hotel - Transportation of the participants and the vehicle, - Service team and accompanying people, - Sporting compulsory licence for competitors, - Fuel, - Personal spending, - Safety and navigation systems rent (Sentinel, Iritrack, GPS), - The guarantee deposit, uncashed (credit card print during checks). 7.5 TRANSPORTATION The appointment is set for competitors on the day and time of the administrative checks of the event to which he s registered. The flow of participants, vehicles and equipment is up to them and not managed by the organizing committee of the MTrophy Rally. 7.6 PAYMENTS For competitors, payments have to be done by bank transfer directly to the organizing committee of the event they want to registered. To enter the MTrophy Rally 2014, each participant have to pay the total amount du for his participation. The departure will be refused to any competitor who failed to discharge its duties and obligations given their fees and deposit. Invoicing: Invoice have to be requested to the organizing committee of each event. Bank information: Bank information for payment of entry have to be requested to the organizing committee of each event 7.7 REFUSAL OF ENTRY - WITHDRAWAL The entry are personal and not refundable. In order to avoid disputes cancellation of applications for entry and requests for refunds will have to be submitted in writing by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt. In case of 6/11

7 cancellation of an application for entry by a competitor the rules mentioned in supplementary regulations of each event will be applied. 7.8 CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT OF THE EVENT In case the start of the event could not be given, for whatever reason (and the following is not an exhaustive list), e.g. non obtainment of agreement by the federation and/or withdrawal of the agreements given by the federations, or of their passage agreements, political turmoil making it impossible to hold the rally, financial shortcomings making it impossible to organise the sporting or technical aspects of the rally, etc, the organizing committed of the MTrophy Rally, NPO or partners won t be liable to pay anything to the participants. In case the start were to be postponed the organizing committed of the MTrophy Rally would immediately warn each competitor by registered letter of the new calendar of the event. In all cases, participants are not entitled to any compensation. 8. ADMITTED VEHICLES 8.1 GENERALE CONDITION OF ENTRY The MTrophy Rally 2014 is open to all vehicles as following: - Category BIKE 125cc to 450cc - Category BIKE more than 450cc - Category QUAD All vehicles must be registered and issued a final registration certificate. The temporary license plates and all temporary registrations will be banned. 8.2 AUTONOMY AND REFUEILING Vehicles must have a minimum of autonomy to make 140km. Each rider is responsible for calculating its autonomy, it can not under any circumstances turn against the organization when his vehicle failed to meet the minimum distances of 140km regardless of the terrain. For security, another 10% of fuel is recommended. 9. IDENTIFICATION AND MARKING 9.1 ACCESS TO THE RACES OF THE MTROPHY registered, identification and marking of the vehicle have to comply to this SR. Any violation will disqualify the participant and the Team. 9.2 ADVERTISING It is allowed for pilots to affix ads on their bikes as long as the following points are respecting: a) authorized by the regulations of the FIM and the law of the country concerned b) not contrary to good morals and customs c) not encroach upon the spaces reserved for official number plates. Organizing committed of each event will provided to each competitors official plates and bib numbers ads compulsory, as mentioned in their supplementary regulation. 10. ROAD BOOK AND NAVIGATION registered, in terms of mandatory navigation and security systems. The mandatory navigation and security systems for each event will be mentionned in each Supplementary Regulations of the event. All sporting informations concerning the route, 7/11

8 check points, speed limits, time contrôle, etc will be mentionned in each Supplementary Regulations of the event. The competitor of the MTrophy Rally must comply with them. 11. MEDICAL AND SECURITY EQUIPMENTS registered, in terms of mandatory medical and security equipments. The wearing of a back protector and a jersey providing front protection is mandatory. Wearing a cervical collar for protection is strongly recommended. 12. PENALTIES registered, in terms of penalties applied to him as competitors and his service team. Competitors must in all cases, adapt their speed to site conditions which are changing frequently and attention will always needed, whatever the type of route (selective routes, off road,...). 13. SERVICE registered, in terms of costs, registration and rules for his service team. Each competitor is responsible for his service and vice versa. The entry form filled by the competitor and given to the organization will confirm the link between the competitor and his service team. Racing competitors are responsible for the behaviour of the service enrolled by them. Racing competitors risk penalties up to exclusion if their service do not respect the rules. Only vehicles duly entered in the event or as service are authorised to transport service equipment within the weight limits imposed by the International Convention of Road Traffic. Service vehicles must: 1) Pay entry fee before the closure of entries of the event and fill out the entry form. 2) Carry a numbered service plate and the publicity provided by the organisers. 3) Respect and conform to the rules. They will be under the control of the race director. 4) Comply to the same rules as competitors in relation to the country Highway Code concerned. The whole stages involve an obligatory route for support vehicles as defined in the specification service. 14. INSURANCE In accordance with the statutes of the AMM, the national member federations of the AMM, as well as those who are invited to participate in the Mediterranean Trophy Rally should are responsible for the behavior of members of their delegations. National Federations shall ensure that pilots have many adequate insurance covering the risks of death, disability, illness, medical and pharmaceutical expenses and responsibility visà-vis third parties. 15. ENVIRONMENT Each person is responsible for the waste generated by his team during the event. 1) Waste must be retained by the team until the approved facilities provided by organizers can be used. 2) When refuelling or servicing of a vehicle, the participants must provide and use an environment mat to protect the ground. The competitors must remove these mats after use. 3) The participants must put their oil used in tanks. 4) Any infringement will be punished. Also, the participant will be responsible of the reparation cost. 8/11

9 16. CHECKS 16.1 ADMINISTRATIVES CHECKS The pilot registered will be compulsory present to the administrative checks, at the date and time specified by the organizer of the event concerned. The documents required are mentioned in the supplementary regulations of the event in which the competitor is entered. Competitors are solely responsible for the validity of the documents required to the race. They may in no case held responsible for the Organising Committee of MTrophy Rally or event organizers in case of non-validity of these documents. Competitors undertake the honor to present valid documents. No photocopies or certificate of loss or theft of any documents whatsoever will be accepted SCRUTINEERING The pilot registered will be compulsory present to the scrutineering, at the date and time specified by the organizer of the event concerned. All vehicles presented to the scrutineering have to be comply with the supplementary regulation of the event concerned. All vehicles not comply with the SP of the event, improper or unsuitable during the technical checks can being changed of category or start refused (decided by the FIM jury). In this last case, the entry price stay acquired by the organizer of the event. Pilots must be present during technical check with: -His vehicle, -his FIM approved helmet (with name of Pilot and his blood type marked on) -and his protection jacket. Required official documents (no photocopy) FIM Cross-Country rally sporting licence annual or one international event, - Driving licence for the vehicle presented, - Only for competitors with an annual licence: Authorization to race abroad issued by their national federation. - ID card for the registered vehicle. - Insurance certificate for the registered vehicle. 17. STARTING ORDER registered, in terms of starting order of the first stage he has to enter. 18. CLASSIFICATIONS The definitive results, only in relation to the means with which these results are calculated, and only these means, may be the subject of an appeal once the official results have been posted at the end of the race. To feature in the final results, competitors must cross the finish line of the last stage and enter the Parc Fermé in the time allowed. A specific classification for competitors registered to the MTrophy Rally 2014 will be done after each races and presented on the website The winners of the categories of the Mediterranean Trophy Rally 2014 has acquired the most points during the races, will receive an award at the final round of the Trophy in the Rally of Morocco, the 9th of October. BONUS FOR PARTICIPATION: Depending on the number of events in which the competitor is entered, it is gratifying to a 9/11

10 bonus point as follows, which combines with the total points acquired after 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 events. SAFETY PLAN Human and technical resources implemented by the event organizers of th MTrophy Rally, will be available to drivers of the MTrophy Rally as well as all participants. The details of land, air and human resources will be provided by the organizers of each event in the supplementary regulations of the event concerned. 21. TV AND PHOTO RIGHTS All competitors recognise that the MTrophy Rally is a promotional operation whose reputation they can benefit from. In order to permit the widest possible dissemination and promotion of the MTrophy Rally, any and all persons taking part in the MTrophy Rally for any reason (hereinafter collectively referred to as the Competitors) acknowledge and agree that 10/11

11 their participation in the competition grants to the organisers and assignees the irrevocable right to reproduce and display, without any compensation whatsoever, their name, likeness, voice, biography and history, and more generally, their sports performance in connection with the MTrophy Rally, as well as the trade name(s), trade mark(s), brand(s) of their vehicle parts manufacturers, constructors and sponsors, in any and all forms, on any media (whether now existing or hereafter developed) and in any format, for all kinds of world-wide use, including advertising and/or commercial use without any restrictions whatsoever except for those mentioned hereinafter, and for the entire duration of the protection currently granted for such use by legal or statutory provisions, judicial and/or arbitral decisions of all countries, as well as international conventions (present and future), including eventual extensions that could be made to this duration. Competitors concede to the organizing Committee of the MTrophy Rally, in their name and in the name of their sponsors, the rights, in the case of all exploitation of the event, including that of sponsors, media coverage of the event, the reproduction entirely or partly on the discretion of the organiser of all supports, existing or future, world-wide, without any limitation, for the whole duration, the longest legally accepted by French as well as foreign law, the current and future international agreements, including eventual prolongation brought to this duration, the names, marques, or logos of sponsors. Likewise, for books, photograph books, comic strips, in any form of publication, video, CD- ROMs, DVDs, internet site, video sites or more generally all video recording on any kind of device and in any format whatsoever, dealing with all or part of the MTrophy Rally, posters, travel diaries, autograph books, maps, official programs of the MTrophy Rally. 11/11
