1 WELCOME TO SCORE INTERNATIONAL OFF ROAD RACING! 50 th BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 1000 Registration Details Registration for the 50 th BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 1000 is now open, we at SCORE International would like to share important guidelines and policies in preparation for a successful and easy team registration (revised ): 1. Be a current Member of SCORE International. All drivers/riders of record and co-drivers/coriders are required to have purchased a 2017 SCORE Membership in order to enter a race. Please be aware that if you do not have a 2017 SCORE Membership the data you enter will be erased at checkout because the system verifies valid membership purchases. The system recognizes your Membership purchase through your log-in information, no longer by a member ID number, so you will need to use the same log-in information (User Name & Password), in order to register for a race. Memberships are valid for one calendar year (Jan1st-Dec 31 st, 2017). Bring your 2017 SCORE Membership card to the races whenever possible, along with your state issued picture ID, and driving/riding permit. 2. Acquire a SCORE approved vehicle/moto/quad number. Have your SCORE assigned race number prior to registering for a race. Your SCORE vehicle/moto/quad number is assigned to one Driver of Record or one Rider of Record and valid for one year from the last SCORE race you participated in (i.e. Baja to Baja ). Beyond one year without racing with SCORE International, you will have to call for a new race number or about number assignments. For more detailed information read the Rulebook and Sample Racer Brief are available online under Race Info. This will help you understand all the requirements to race with SCORE International. If you have any specific questions please call Your Class & Vehicle/Moto/Quad Information. Select the race entry according to your Class. If you need assistance in determining your Class call For media reporting and promotion of your team be prepared to list details of the vehicle/moto/quad such as make, model, HP/CC, engine block manufacturer, transmission builder, etc. You are requested to enter all your Co-drivers/Co-riders names, ages, hometowns for media promotion and finishing medal ordering. This is not a means of registering your co-drivers/co-riders; see Number 7 for further details on Co-driver/Co-rider Race Registration. Once you have entered all your data save to cart. You must hit the PROCESS ORDER button to complete your order. Any changes, correction to your co-driver/co-riders list, entry information, or sponsor list, contact the registration office before November 8, PM to make those changes for you and notify the media of the change.

2 4. Have your Sport Tag transponder number available. Transponders are REQUIRED equipment used for timing. Enter the transponder number if you already have one installed on your vehicle/moto/quad. If you already have a transponder, your team must to bring proof of the transponder number to the race registration/check-in (the easiest method of proof is with your camera phone). If you do not have one, answer no and the system will automatically charge you for one. The cost is $95. Transponder online purchases are to be picked up at race registration & check-in. It is yours to keep, not a rental, so do not return it with the rented tracking device, or other rented equipment. It is not retrievable once lost and you will have to purchase a new one for the next race. 5. Paying for the event. For the Baja 1000, a minimum $ deposit towards your entry is required to be entered into the draw. Method of payment accepted are credit/debit, wire transfer, or a U.S. bank check for online registration. If NOT pre-running, the last date to make credit and debit card payments online is November 8, PM PST, If pre-running, payment due date is October 18, PM (see details below). Last day to submit a wire transfer or pay by check is November 6, PM PST, contact the Registration Office for wiring information. Mail checks to: ATTN: SCORE International 465 S. Meadows Parkway Suite 6, Reno, NV Paying for your entry balance at on-site registration will incur an additional $200 late fee, no exceptions. Making a deposit does not void the late fee. No checks or credit/debit cards will be accepted at the race registration. Method of payment at the on-site Registration/Check-in is cash only. Please note the following dates in which your entry will need to be paid in full: Qualifying, payment due date is October 20, PM. All vehicles qualifying must participate in SEMA. Only one driver and one co-driver of the team is permitted to qualify and that list needs to be given to the Registration Director BEFORE October 6, PM, because at 5PM that list will go out to the SEMA coordinators. Only those two drivers will be given special passes. The designated qualifying driver must start the 50 th Baja 1000, so consider this when selecting the two team members who will do the qualifying. Any team that chooses to pre-run on any part of the course without payment for their race entry completed online, will be pre-running at their own risk, and uninsured. Pre-running is open October but is completely at your own risk. SCORE General Liability and Accident Medical Insurance goes into effect October 28, 2017 for all registered teams with fees paid. 6. The installation of the Assembly Kit & Bracket for the Stella III Unit will be required for this event. The Assembly Kit & Bracket is purchased from Anube Sport America and is a necessary install to operate the Stella III Unit. To order the Assembly Kit visit this website: The Stella III Unit is a rented tracking & safety device that you will receive at the race as part of your race entry fee. Teams are required to meet with Anube staff at the on-site registration to fill out rental paperwork. The Stella III Unit must be returned after you finish the race. Picture below is an Assembly Kit that you purchase and must install on your vehicle/moto/quad:

3 7. Register all of your Co-Drivers/Co-Riders. Registering all Co-drivers/Co-riders is mandatory in order for them to race, and for them to be covered under the SCORE General Liability and Accident Medical Insurance. To avoid tedious paperwork and longer wait times at the on-site registration/check-in, register your Co-drivers/Co-riders online which will enable registration to have your folders and bands prepared. Select Required Co-driver/Co-rider Registration SCORE 50 th Baja 1000 to register Co-drivers/Co-riders for the race. If you need help contact the Registration Office at All participants must check-in on time, at the on-site registration, to be permitted to race. If any participant feels they cannot personally show at registration check-in, they must 1) notify the Registration Director and 2) submit a notarized Waiver mailed to the Registration Office by October 20, ) Arrange to have safety gear teched by Tech Director 4) Entries must be paid in full before receiving bands. Bands will NOT be given to anyone except team members that are registered to race or an official Team Manager. If a Driver/Rider of Record or Co-driver/Co-rider on a team is not banded, the entire team could face disqualification. Note the following guidelines: Any participant between the age of years of age at the start date of the race event, will be required to have a parent or legal guardian sign Minor Consent form and Waiver. All participants must be legally permitted to drive/ride & must have a government issued picture ID. Up to five registered Co-drivers/Co-riders are covered under one Race Entry. All participants must be 2017 SCORE Members. Contact the SCORE International Registration office for registering more than five co-drivers/co-riders or a minor for important details. Online Registration closes on Wednesday, November 8, PM. Online SCORE Membership purchases ends Friday, November 9, PM. 8. Refund policy: SCORE Memberships are non-refundable. Race entry refund requests made to the Registration Office PRIOR to the Pre-running deadline date (10/18/2017) will be considered for a full refund. After the Online Registration deadline date, any requested refunds will be subject to a minimum $300 Administrative Fee. Please exercise discretion when using someone else's credit card for your entry, we are NOT responsible for a card holder's actions. IMPORTANT REGISTRATION DATES: Registration Deadline for Qualifying Drivers: Friday, October 6, PM - Teams that are qualifying need to have their race entry in online, and the designated qualifying driver and co-driver registered by this time. Qualifying requires participation in SEMA. Entries MUST be paid in full by Friday, October 20, PM. Tuesday, October 31, AM-1PM Registration for Qualifying drivers & team members at SEMA. Draw Deadline: Friday, October 27, PM PST - For all non-qualifying teams who did not participate 2017 Tijuana 21st Desert Challenge for start positions. This is the deadline to be included in the Race Program and SCORE Journal. Teams must register online to be entered into the Draw, Race Program and SCORE Journal. Pre-

4 draw entry list will be posted online October 28, PM. SCORE leaves for SEMA. Draw takes place on November 1, PM-8PM in Las Vegas. Draw Results Posting Time: Thursday, November 2, PM PST- Posting of DRAW results on our website. Pre-running: Race Entry MUST be PAID IN FULL by Wednesday, October 27, PM for non-qualifying teams, or pre-run at your own risk. Online Registration Closes: Wednesday, November 8, PM PST Deadline to register for the 50th Baja 1000 as DOR/ROR & Codrivers/Co-riders online as well as make credit card payments, alterations to entry, or sponsorship list. After this date and time all registration needs will have to be taken care of in Ensenada, Mexico at the on-site Registration/Check-in. Final Entry List will be posted November 9, PM. On-site Registration Opens: Monday, November 13, PM - 8PM PST Tuesday, November 14, AM - 4PM. No walk-in entries after 4PM. All moto, quad & UTV teams must be registered and banded by this date and time. Wednesday, November 15, AM - 4PM. No walk-in entries after 4PM. All truck & car teams must be registered and banded by this date and time. All teams need to complete their racer packet paperwork BEFORE entering the contingency line and keep them with the vehicle/moto/quad. On-Site Registration location: Red Room, Riviera del Pacifico Cultural Center : Lázaro Cárdenas 1421, Bahia Ensenada, Ensenada, B.C., Mexico. On-site Registration is CASH ONLY and costs a $ more (no fee waivers allowed). Make the process of registration simple, register the entire team online and early. Registration Office is there to help. Mandatory Racer Meetings: Rider Meeting Tuesday, November 14, PM PST At least one banded moto/quad team member MUST attend. Map will be revealed at the OFF ROAD EXPO In Pomona, CA and online September 30, 2017 at 3PM PST. GPS/X files will be available online no later than October 20, AM PST. This is a very dangerous sport! Racing in Mexico takes patience and fortitude.
