1 STEP A SPRING / SUMMER CLINIC & CAMP DESIGN Head Coach picks one of three ways to teach system to staff and players. Together we will design the best program for you and your program DESIGN : Individualized Program-Staff Clinic DESIGN : Individualized Program-Staff Clinic combined with Team Camp DESIGN : Individualized Team Camp STAFF CLINIC SESSION GOALS: # fun # Staff Improvement # Decision Process # One Team. Meet with HC (winter spring on Review and Renew). Hold Program Spring-Summer Clinic (Internal). Offensive and Defensive Staff Clinic ALL LEVELS. Install systems (review and new). Teaching methodologies and progressions. O-D teach and learn versus each other session. Wrap up and review Q&A one more time *see example clinic agenda (next page) CLINIC and CAMP SESSIONS GOALS: # fun # Skill Improvement # Decision Process # One Team. Meet with staff to review concepts / teaching methods / practice routine. Q&A throughout and before-after each camp session. Design Practice schedule together day -- (review after each session-redo). Start and help present on-field teaching and tempo. Each session staff takes over on-field instruction till I m not involved at all. Wrap up and review ALL Q&A one more time *see practice plan templates to design PLAYER CAMP SESSIONS GOALS: # fun # Skill Improvement # Decision Process # One Team. HC intro and staff warm up and stretch. Slow to fast installation core. Run (bubble included) install - emphasis. Half time. Pass / PAP install - emphasis. Situational game tempo Run 0% / Pass and PAP 0%. Overtime - Finish with fun. Wrap up and review get a great start for tomorrow *note day - can add Offensive Special Teams install and situations
