3 Our Mission Lax Factory strives to offer all of our athletes the most comprehensive lacrosse environment available. We are committed to building a culture that stresses the importance of player development, preparation for the next level and leadership in the community.

9 Elite Box Lacrosse 5 th -12 th grade 10 Total Practices Will start in November Looking to add local scrimmages Practice and Tournament info is on website

10 SPRING 2017 Will start week of March 5 th Howard County Club League Starts 2 nd week of April 6 Games on Saturdays Championship weekend is weekend before MDW 2-3 practices depending on team Older teams could potentially add a 4th night (film)

Practice twice a week Scaling back due to new recruiting emphasis on Prospect Days (HS) AND unbelievable tournament fees ***2 Tournaments for 25/26

13 CLUB EXTRAS LEAD EM UP Structured Throughout Spring and Fall HUDL (MS & HS ONLY) All 6 th -12 th grader players will have access to our Lax Factory HUDL account. Self critique and during team film review Create highlight tapes invite (by first tournament) PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT 3 Personal Development Talks led by Coach Funk

14 Weather Conflicts: If weather looks like it could affect the scheduling of any practice and/or tournament, the cancellation/postponement process will be communicated and decided by the respective coaching staff and Trey Wilkes. NO TEAM MANAGER OR PARENT IS TO SEND ANY FORM OF COMMUNICATION TO ANY TEAM IN REGARD TO CANCELLING, POSTPONING, OR CHANGE OF LOCATION OF A PRACTICE OR TOURNAMENT WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF A COACH OR ADMINISTRATOR. If a coach feels that he can t get information out in a timely matter, he can use his Team Manager as a resource to do so.

15 Parent Conflicts Any conflict with a parent will be handled accordingly: Diffuse the situation immediately by staying composed and positive If in the presence of any players and/or other parents, move the conversation to a private setting or ask if the conversation can take place at another time or place Any situation that can t be resolved and is jeopardizing player experience or our programs reputation, direct the concern to me immediately at (301)

16 Coaching Expectations Non-Negotiables Communicate and Be Timely Plan, attend and direct ALL team practices and tournaments Provide feedback and assist individual players with personal development Communicate with Team Managers about practice/tournament times, locations & cancellations and any other important information regarding the logistics of your respective team Absolutely NO use/consumption of any tobacco products, drugs or alcohol while in the presence of ANY Lax Factory player All coaches must wear a Lax Factory shirt/polo/jackets while attending & coaching a tournament. No flips flops and/or sandals permitted on the sideline while coaching. Any questions from parents regarding fees, uniforms, tournaments, apparel or inquires that you may not have credible information for, please forward to Info@laxfactory.com

17 Player Expectations School 3.0 GPA or Higher We will check report cards this year Social Media Practice Off-season (Fall/Winter): Must communicate that you will miss practice to the HEAD COACH that you will be missing due to another sport commitment In-season (Spring/Summer): Lax Factory is your #1 commitment. Injury Are you hurt or injured?
