The Broncos (8-4) and Beavers (6-6) are slated to kick off at 6 p.m. (MT) at Aloha Stadium, and the game will be nationallytelevised by ESPN. THE SERIES: Oregon State leads the alltime series 4-3, but the Broncos have won each of the last two games, and are 3-2 against the Beavers since joining what is now the Football Bowl Subdivision in Boise State defeated OSU in 2006 (Sept. 7) and in 2010 (Sept. 25). The last loss to the Beavers came in 2005 (30-27; Sept. 10). 2 Broncos in the Polls IT S BEEN A WHILE: The Broncos did not receive a vote in either the Associated Press or USA Today Coaches Polls Sept. 22, ending a streak of 125-consecutive polls with at least one vote. It marked the first time the Broncos had been without a point in each since Oct. 16, BRONCOS IN THE POLLS: Boise State entered the 2013 season ranked No. 19 in both the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches Preseason Polls. Boise State is one of only 11 schools to open each of the last five seasons - dating back to ranked in the Coaches Poll, and one of only 12 to open each of the last five seasons ranked in the AP Poll. A DOZEN YEARS IN THE RANKINGS: When Boise State opened the 2013 season ranked in both the USA Today Coaches and Associated Press Preseason Polls, it marked the 12th-consecutive season the Broncos had been ranked for at least one week in each of the top- 25 polls. SUCCESS WHEN RANKED: Boise State has an all-time record of (.889) when ranked in the top 25 of the media and/or coaches polls. IT S ABOUT WHERE YOU FINISH: Boise State has started each of the last five seasons - including ranked in each major preseason poll. Matt Paradis (OL), Donte Deayon (CB) and Jeremy Ioane (S) were named second team, while Dan Goodale (K), Matt Miller (WR) and Shane Williams-Rhodes (WR) were named honorable mention. Williams-Rhodes earned the accolade as both a wide receiver and return specialist. VS. THE PAC-12: Boise State is 6-2 against schools from the Pac-12 since 2006, not including wins against Utah in both 2006 and The only losses have come to Washington, in both 2007 and earlier this season. The Broncos are 7-11 all-time against the Pac-12. VS. BCS SCHOOLS: The Broncos are 9-3 against schools from BCS automaticqualifying conferences since Included was a streak of six-consecutive victories, which was snapped in the 2012 season opener against Michigan State. The only other losses during that time were to Washington, in both 2007 and earlier this season. Boise State is all-time against BCS schools. NON-SATURDAY GAMES: Boise State is all-time in games played on any day other than Saturday, including a 6-4 record in bowl games and a 3-1 record on Tuesdays. ESTABLISHING A LEGACY: The Broncos are the winningest football program in the country since 2000, with an overall record of (.861). Oklahoma (152-34;.817), Ohio State (144-34;.809), Texas (140-39;.782) and LSU (142-40;.780) round out the top five. 16-YEAR WINNING STREAK: Including this season, Boise State is riding a streak of 16-consecutive winning seasons. The Broncos went 5-6 in 1997, the last season sans a winning record for the Broncos. BOWL GAMES: Boise State will be making its 12th-consecutive bowl appearance, tied for the seventh-longest active streak nationally. 6 The Broncos will have played in a bowl game in 14 of the last 15 seasons, winning nine - including each of the last four. SENIOR SUCCESS: Boise State s class of 2013 is the 12th-straight group of seniors to win at least 40 games in their careers - an average at least 10 wins per season. This year s class won its 40th game against Nevada (Oct. 19), and has now won 43 games. SCORING OUTPUT: The Broncos are averaging 38.8 points per game on the season, a mark that ranks 16th-nationally and second in the Mountain West. Over the course of the final 11 games of the regular season, Boise State scored 459 points - an average of 41.7 points per game. Boise State has scored 40-plus in seven games this season. Included was a four-game stretch with at least 40 points - the longest streak since scoring 40-plus in seven straight during the 2010 season. Boise State is the highest-scoring team in the country since 2000, averaging points per game. Boise State is the only school to average more than 40 points per game during that time. Oregon is second at points per game since RED ZONE: Boise State has scored on 58- of-64 red zone possessions, the 10th-best mark in the country (.906). Of the 58 scores, 45 were touchdowns. TD DRIVES: Boise State has scored touchdowns on 59 of its 159 offensive drives in 2013, or nearly 40 percent of the times it has had the ball and is trying to score (.371). ANOTHER BRONCO FIRST DOWN: Boise State has 299 first downs - the 21st-most in the country. Much of this can be attributed to the Broncos ability to convert on third down. Boise State ranks 20th-nationally in the statistical category, converting 87-of-185 third-down opportunities (.470). AVOIDING PENALTIES: Boise State has been penalized just 47 times this season, ranking ninth-nationally in fewest penalties per game (3.92). The team s penalty yards per game are the 18th-fewest in the country.

COMPLETION PERCENTAGE: Boise State ranks second-nationally in team completion percentage. The Broncos completed 297-of- 422 pass attempts during the regular season (.704), trailing only East Carolina (.707). Boise State completed 29-of-31 passes against Air Force (Sept 13), a completion percentage of.936. The mark broke the NCAA record - minimum 25 completions - which had stood since 1983 (UCLA vs. Washington; 25-of-27). Included was a conference and school record 27-of-29 (.931) performance from Joe Southwick. Grand Hedrick went 2-for-2. Southwick has completed 151-of-208 (.726) in 2013, and Hedrick is 135-of-198 (.682). Nick Patti (8-of-11;.727), Thomas Sperbeck (0-of-1), Trevor Harman (2-of-2) and Matt Miller (1-of-2) have each also attempted a pass for the Broncos. PUNT RETURNS: Boise State ranks second-nationally in punt returns, and seventh-nationally in punt return defense. Boise State, North Carolina and Bowling Green are the only three teams in the country to rank in the top 10 in each category. The Broncos are averaging yards per return, trailing only North Carolina (17.07). Boise State is allowing just 3.15 yards per return, and has given up just 41 yards this season on 13 returns. Prior to giving up a 41-yard return for a touchdown against San Diego State, the Broncos had allowed negative return yardage through 10 games. HOME RECORD: Boise State went a perfect 6-0 at home in 2013, the team s first perfect home record since Boise State lost once at home in both 2011 and 2012, but prior to that had put together five-straight perfect seasons at Bronco Stadium, and ninestraight perfect regular seasons at home. The only home loss during that time came in the 2005 MPC Computers Bowl against Boston College (27-21). Boise State has the best home winning percentage in the country since the start of the 2000 season with a record of 86-4 (.956). 7 CONFERENCE RECORD: Since the 2000 season, Boise State is 99-9 (.917) in league games, the highest winning percentage in the country during that time. Oklahoma is second on the list with a record of (.818). MW LOSSES: Boise State has lost just four league games since joining the Mountain West in 2011 by a combined seven points: TCU in 2011 (36-35); San Diego State in 2012 (21-19); Fresno State (41-40) and SDSU (34-31, OT) in Prior to this season, Boise State hadn t lost two league games in a season since 2001, when the team went 6-2 in the team s first season in the Western Athletic Conference. Alabama owns the nation s longest streak, having won 21-straight. PROTECTING THE QB: Though the Broncos have given up more sacks this season (21) than they did in 2012 (10), the Broncos have been one of the best teams in the country in protecting the quarterback the last few years. Boise State, ranked tied for No. 45 this season (1.75 per game), is one of only two schools to rank in the top-10 nationally in sacks allowed each of the last three seasons ( ; Air Force).
