Portland led by 13 points with just over six minutes left in the third quarter and had an lead with 6:37 to go. But the Jazz made a 3-pointer 35 seconds later to tie the game and made a lay-up with 5:35 left to take the lead for good. Zach Randolph paced the Blazers with 22 points, hitting 10-of-11 free throw attempts and nine rebounds. Rasheed Wallace (21 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots) and Damon Stoudamire (16 points and 6 assists) had solid games for the Blazers. Jeff McInnis came off the bench to score 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the floor while Bonzi Wells added eight rebounds, five assists and four steals. Portland outrebounded the Jazz, 40-29, but was out shot from the field, 57.5% to 42.9%. The Blazers were also outscored in the paint, GAME #2-NOVEMBER 1, 2003 TRAIL BLAZERS 104, Cleveland 85 Cleveland Portland Portland evened its record to 1-1 with a win over the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers. The win gave the Trail Blazers a record in home openers and gave Portland a 4-0 record when opening the season at home against

3 Cleveland. The Blazers are just 4-5 in home openers in the Rose Garden, but have won three straight and 4-of-5. The score was tied 23-all after one quarter, but the Blazers got things going in the second period to take a halftime lead. During the second quarter, the Cavs were held to 33.3% (6-of-18) shooting from the field and committed 11 fouls leading to 17 (13 made) Portland free throws. Zach Randolph recorded his first double-double of the season with 21 points and a game-high 13 rebounds. Randolph hit 8-of-13 shots from the floor and went 5-of-5 from the line. Jeff McInnis scored 15 points in a reserve role while Damon Stoudamire chipped in 14 points. In his first action of the season, Qyntel Woods scored 13 points in 16 minutes. Woods, who did not play in the season opening loss at Utah on Wednesday, went 3-for-3 from three-point range. Bonzi Wells led the Blazers with seven assists and added 12 points and five rebounds. Rasheed Wallace had 11 points, four rebounds and a game-high two blocked shots. GAME #3-NOVEMBER 3, 2003 Philadelphia 94, TRAIL BLAZERS 83 Philadelphia Portland The Blazers saw their record fall to 1-2 with a loss to Philadelphia in the Rose Garden. This is the third straight season the Blazers have started the season by losing two-of-three games. The loss gave Portland a 1-1 home record for the season. The Blazers owned a one-point advantage at the end of the first period, but were outscored in the second quarter, 25-15, to fall behind by nine points at the half. The two teams played even in the third period (19-19) with the Sixers outscoring the Blazers by two in the fourth quarter, 25-23, for the final margin. Rasheed Wallace led the Trail Blazers with a team-high 22 points on 7-14 shooting from the floor, 2-of-2 from three-point range. He also had seven rebounds, six assists and two blocked shots. Bonzi Wells had 17 points, five rebounds, three assists and five steals. Zach Randolph recorded his second straight double-double, scoring 11 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Damon Stoudamire dropped in 11 points and dished out six assists. Despite winning the battle of the boards, 41-29, the Blazers were outshot from the field, 48.5% to 39.2%, and from the free throw line, 77.1% to 64.3%. GAME #4-NOVEMBER 5, 2003 TRAIL BLAZERS 93, Memphis 87 Memphis Portland Portland pushed their overall record to 2-2 and improved their mark in the Rose Garden to 2-1 with a win over the Memphis Grizzlies. The Blazers raced out to a advantage after one period and led by 18 points, 50-32, at the half. Zach Randolph scored 20 points and grabbed a season-high 16 rebounds (both game-highs) for his third straight double-double. Bonzi Wells (17 points), Damon Stoudamire (13) and Jeff McInnis (10) were the other Blazers in double figures. Rasheed Wallace pulled down a season-high 10 rebounds while Dale Davis grabbed nine boards. Randolph and Stoudamire each dished out four assists for the Blazers. Portland held the Grizzlies to 40.7% shooting from the field (33-of-81) while knocking down 46.2% (36-of-78) of their own shots. The Blazers won the battle of the boards, 50-37, and outscored the Grizzlies in the paint, GAME #5-NOVEMBER 7, 2003 SEATTLE 100, Trail Blazers 82 Portland Seattle The Blazers saw their road record slip to 0-2 with a defeat at Seattle. The loss gave Portland a 2-3 record for the season. The defeat snapped Portland s four-game winning streak vs. the Sonics. The Blazers now trail the alltime series against Seattle, The Blazers held a lead with 1:48 remaining in the second quarter before the Sonics went on a 9-0 run to close out the first half. Seattle pushed their advantage to 16 points in the third period and 22 in the final quarter. Rasheed Wallace had his first double-double of the season, scoring 25 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. The 6-foot-11 forward also had four assists and two blocked shots, both team highs. Zach Randolph, the Blazers leading scorer and rebounder, missing his fourth straight double-double by one rebound as he scored 19 points and pulled down nine boards. The only other Blazer in double figures was Bonzi Wells who

4 scored 13 points in 28 minutes. Randolph, Damon Stoudamire and Jeff McInnis each had three assists for Portland. Qyntel Woods came off the bench to grab a career-high seven rebounds. GAME #6-NOVEMBER 8, 2003 TRAIL BLAZERS 90, Atlanta 83 Atlanta Portland Portland improved their season record to 3-3 and their home mark to 3-1 with a victory over the Atlanta Hawks in the Rose Garden. Although the Blazers led most of the game, their biggest lead was 11 points. The game had four ties and six lead changes. Zach Randolph led the Blazers with a season-high 29 points and grabbed nine rebounds. For the second consecutive game, Randolph missed a double-double by one rebound. Jeff McInnis hit 8-of-14 shots to score 21 points and dished out a game-high nine assists. Dale Davis scored 10 points in the opening period and finished the game with 12 points, eight rebounds, two steals and two blocked shots. Rasheed Wallace was the other Blazer in double figures with 11 points. The Blazers shot a season-best 50% from three-point range, hitting 7- of-14 attempts. GAME #7-NOVEMBER 11, 2003 TRAIL BLAZERS 83, Toronto 80 Toronto Portland The Blazers pushed their record over.500 for the first time this season with a victory over the Toronto Raptors in the Rose Garden. The win gave Portland a 4-3 overall mark and a 4-1 record at home. Zach Randolph led six Blazers in double figures with 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, his fourth double-double of the season and his first in the last three games. Dale Davis also recorded a double-double, his second of the season, scoring 10 points and pulling down 10 boards. Damon Stoudamire added 14 points while three others, Rasheed Wallace, Bonzi Wells, and Jeff McInnis, scored 11 points each. Wallace also had eight boards and Vladimir Stepania had seven rebounds, five on the offensive end, in 10 minutes of action. McInnis had a team-high six assists and Stoudamire had five. The Blazers had a huge advantage on the boards, 45-29, in the paint where they outscored the Raptors, GAME #8-NOVEMBER 13, 2003 TRAIL BLAZERS 112, Sacramento 110 OT OT T FG% 3FG% FT% REB AST ST TO BS Sacra Port The Trail Blazers ran their winning streak to three games with a overtime victory over the visiting Sacramento Kings. Portland has a 5-1 record in the Rose Garden this season and has won four straight at home. The Blazers fell behind by 16 at the end of the first quarter and by 18 points at the half, Portland outscored the Kings, 37-21, in the third period to only trail by two entering the fourth quarter. The Blazers tied the game at 84 on a Bonzi Wells lay-in with 11:39 remaining the game. Sacramento then went on a 14-4 run to take a lead with 7:03 left. Two free throws by Zach Randolph with 23.1 seconds remaining tied the game, 105-all, and forced the overtime period. Jeff McInnis hit a baseline jumper at the 4:28 mark in the extra period to give the Blazers their first lead of the game, , and the Blazers never trailed again. Randolph led the Blazers with 28 points and 14 rebounds, his fifth double-double of the season. The Michigan State-product also had five assists, 3 steals and 3 blocked shots, all career highs. Wells scored a season-high 27 points on 13-of-24 shooting from the field and just missed a double-double, grabbing nine rebounds. He added four assists and three steals. Rasheed Wallace was the third Blazer to score over 25 points as he finished with 26. Wallace contributed six rebounds, four assists and two steals. Damon Stoudamire added 17 points and a teamhigh six assists. The Blazers outscored the Kings in the paint, 54-36, and in second chance points, Portland outrebounded the Kings, 44-38, as every Portland starter grabbed at least six rebounds.

5 GAME #9-NOVEMBER 15, 2003 NEW ORLEANS 101,Trail Blazers 79 Portland New Orleans The Blazers had their three-game winning streak snapped at New Orleans, The loss dropped Portland s record to 5-4 and 0-3 on the road. Trailing by one at intermission, 50-49, the Blazers took a lead on a Damon Stoudamire free throw at the 4:35 mark in the third period. But the Hornets went on a 13-2 run to build a 10-point lead, The Blazers never got closer than eight points after that and trailed by as many as 23. Bonzi Wells and Rasheed Wallace each scored 19 points to lead the Blazers. Wells just missed a double-double, grabbing a team-high nine boards while Wallace pulled down eight. Stoudamire added 14 points and led the team with seven assists. Zach Randolph scored 13 points and had seven boards. The Blazers shot a season-low 36.1% (30-of-83) from the floor and 23.5% (4-of-17) from three-point range. Portland s 30-point second half was also a season low. The Blazers lost the rebounding battle, 46-40, and were outscored in the paint, 40-28, and in fast break points, BLAZERS VS DALLAS THIS YEAR: The Blazers and Mavericks will meet four times this season, tonight and February 28 in Dallas and December 23 and January 17 in the Rose Garden. The Blazers dished up a Thanksgiving-style dinner, offered free haircuts by Supercuts, and provided free health screening to 4,000 of Portland s homeless, transitional and lowincome individuals. The Blazers players, coaching staff, BlazerDancers, Wheel Blazers, Blazers Alumni and local media celebrities served the dinner and beverages. The Blazers players and staff also delivered meals to homebound seniors departing throughout the day. Verizon Wireless HopeLine SM Program Verizon Wireless, the nation s largest wireless provider, and the Portland Trail Blazers teamed up to invite fans to help curb domestic violence in the community. Fans who attended the November 13 Blazers game at the Rose Garden were able to donate used wireless phones and accessories for the Verizon Wireless HopeLine SM program. Fans who made a donation were be awarded a free pair of Blazers game tickets to a future game at the Rose Garden. Through the Verizon Wireless HopeLine program, used wireless handsets, batteries and accessories from any carrier are refurbished, recycled and/or sold. Proceeds are donated to non-profit domestic violence advocacy organizations and used to purchase handsets for victims.

7 As part of its HopeLine program, Verizon Wireless also makes financial grants to regional and national domestic violence organizations. During the past two years the company has awarded grants totaling more than $30,000 to Oregon domestic violence agencies. Wireless phones and equipment donations can also be donated to the HopeLine program year-round at any Verizon Wireless Communications Store across the country. Tax receipts are available. Jimmy Lynam, Assistant Coach Jimmy Lynam enters the third season of his second tour of duty with the Trail Blazers. Lynam began his coaching career in 1981 as a Blazers assistant coach to then-head coach, Jack Ramsay. Prior to coming to the Blazers, Lynam was an assistant coach with the New Jersey Nets. Panaggio ranks third all-time in games coached (504), third in playoff victories (71) and fifth in regular season winning percentage. Panaggio spent three seasons as an assistant coach with Quad City before take over the heading coach duties from his father. Prior to that he was the head coach at Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY, where he posted a record. Blazers head coach, Maurice Cheeks, was Panaggio s aide with Quad City during the season.
