3 GENERAL INFORMATION: NJSIAA and National Federation rules are in effect. Schools must arrange transportation to all game sites. OFFICIALS: The Tournament Committee will assign all officials. The tournament committee will pay all referees. The host school will supply an official timer/ scoreboard operator. Only NJSIAA registered officials will be assigned. Schools should notify the tournament director of any unacceptable official. GAME BALLS: Each school is to supply 6 game balls to be approved by the officials. BALL PERSONS: Each school is to supply two sideline assistants. TEAM UNIFORMS: The higher seeded team will wear white uniforms. Both teams must have contrasting colors. Schools are responsible for confirming colors with their opponents prior to the date of the contest. AWARDS: A championship team plaque or trophy will be presented to the winning team. A second place team plaque will also be awarded. RAIN-OUTS: In the case of rain, the site director is to make the decision and notify the tournament director and opposing teams no later than one and one half hours prior to game time. It is the responsibility of the coaches and the athletic directors to reschedule the games within the week. Tournament games will take priority over any league game and must be completed 3 days prior to the next round. WINNING TEAM S COACHES: Please contact Todd Meyer (201) and/or tmeyer@rih.org and The Bergen Record with the scores of the games. SECURITY: Each school is expected to have 1 administrator and 2 adults affiliated with your school to attend each of your school s game. Names must be sent to Tournament Director 3 days before the game and the security people and administrator must check in with the site manager the day of the game.
