The Blue Hose went three-and-out and punted, while Wofford gained one first down before punting. Presbyterian then picked up three first downs to move inside the ten-yard line. A seven-yard touchdown run by Torrance Marable cut the lead to 14-7 with 6:25 left in the second quarter. Wofford then gained one first down before punting back to the Blue Hose with three minutes left in the first half. After a three-and-out, the Terriers took over with 53 seconds remaining at the 36-yard line but time ran out on the half. To open the second half, Wofford went three-and-out and punted. The Blue Hose had a first down and converted a fourth-and-one, but the play was called back by penalty and Presbyterian punted. Wofford took over at the one yard line and gained a first down. Wofford fumbled, but the ball was recovered by the Terriers for a first down. Brandon Goodson then completed a 72-yard pass to Blake Morgan on third down to give Wofford first-and-goal at the two. The Terriers settled for a 19-yard field goal by Luke Carter for a 17-7 lead with 1:54 left in the third quarter. On the next drive by the Blue Hose, they went three-and-out and punted. On the first play after the punt, Lennox McAfee ran 52 yards for a first down. Brandon Goodson picked up a first down on a run to the nine-yard line. Blake Morgan capped the drive with a five-yard touchdown run to give Wofford a 24-7 lead with 12:37 left in the fourth quarter. After a 41-yard kickoff return, the Blue Hose gained four first downs to move inside the 10. The Blue Hose fumbled at the goal line and it went out of bounds just inside the pylon, resulting in a touchback for the Terriers. The Terriers completed a 75-yard touchdown pass from Lennox McAfee to Jason Hill for a 31-7 lead with 7:34 remaining. Presbyterian was able to pick up two first downs and then converted a fourth-and-three. A throw to the end zone was intercepted by Graham Massey and Wofford ran one play to end the game.
