Rank Ezekiel Elliott Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats DAL Zeke has his suspension stuff behind him and you know Dallas will give him as many touches as he can handle. Rank Todd Gurley Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats LAR Gurley bounced back in a big way in 2017 and he will be one of the first players off the board this season. Rank David Johnson Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats ARI After an injury Week 1 last year Johnson should be 100% healthy and ready to return to his dominant self. Rank Alvin Kamara Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats NO Kamara was one of the biggest surprises from last year ending as a RB1. With Mark Ingram suspended the first four games this makes Kamara a no brainer first round pick. Rank Kareem Hunt Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats KC It was a bit of a roller coaster rookie season for Hunt, but his final numbers were impressive. The Chiefs will use Hunt as an everydown back and he should be drafted as a RB1. Rank Saquon Barkley Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions College Stats NYG This isn't your prototypical rookie and we think Barkley will very much be featured by the Giants right out of the gate. Rank Leonard Fournette Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats JAC Even with missing three games Fournette had a great rookie season and he should be drafted as a low end RB1 this year. Rank Melvin Gordon Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats LAC Some have been getting on Gordon for his low per touch totals, but he continues to get the touches and his numbers at the end of the year are always solid. Rank Dalvin Cook Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats MIN Before getting hurt last season Cook was on pace to be a top five running back and he has had plenty of time to recover. As long as he can stay out on the field we love his upside on that improved Vikings offense. Rank Jordan Howard Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats CHI There is a lot of hate out there for Howard, but he should still see plenty of touches and the Bears offense should be better this year. We like him as a high upside RB2. Rank Christian McCaffrey Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats CAR We knew McCaffrey could catch the ball and he certainly didn't disappoint. He shouldn't get much work between the tackles, but 100 catches isn't out of the question.

5 Rank Devonta Freeman Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats ATL Freeman battled some injuries and had somewhat of a down season in The Falcons in general will look to rebound and he should get a similar workload that we are used to with him. Rank Joe Mixon Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats CIN Overall it was a disappointing rookie season for Mixon. The potential is still there though and he will be getting the majority of the workload right out of the gate this year. Rank Derrick Henry Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats TEN The signing of Dion Lewis certainly hurt the potential of Henry being an every down back for the Titans. He still has the upper hand in being the early down back and he is our bet for the goal lines. Rank LeSean McCoy Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats BUF You know the decline is coming with McCoy sometime soon. Until that happens though he needs to still be treated as a solid RB2. Rank Alex Collins Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats BAL Collins was solid for the Ravens last year and he should get every chance to keep the starting gig for It's possible that Kenneth Dixon pushes for the job, but our money is on Collins. Rank Kenyan Drake Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats MIA Drake was solid down the stretch last year and helped many people win fantasy championships. There are question marks around his durability though and that's why it's hard to rank him any higher. Rank Royce Freeman Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions College Stats DEN It looks like Freeman is the front runner for the starting running back for the Broncos and if he ends up winning that job outright then he has a huge upside. Rank Jay Ajayi Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats PHI When Ajayi went over to Philly it took a few weeks before they really started to use him. Once they did though he was solid and we like him as a low end RB2 this year. Rank Mark Ingram Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats NO With his four game suspension that really hurts Ingram's value. He is a borderline RB1 though when on the field, so he could come at a decent value on draft day. Rank Dion Lewis Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats TEN Lewis stayed healthy last year and he was a beast down the stretch. He has a new home in Tennessee and if he is able to stay on the field then he could offer great value on draft day. Rank Lamar Miller Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats HOU At this point we know exactly what Lamar Miller is and that's solid but nothing too spectacular. For that reason we think he should be drafted as a high upside RB3. Rank Kerryon Johnson Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions College Stats DET The Lions have been trying to solve their running back issues for years and it's possible Johnson is the answer. He is a high upside rookie to target in the mid to later rounds. Rank Tevin Coleman Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats ATL

6 Tevin continues to be stuck behind Freeman and this has limited his value his entire career. We say it every year, but if Tevin gets a chance to start then he could be a borderline RB1. Rank Marshawn Lynch Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats OAK After coming out of retirement to play for the Raiders Lynch was good not great in At this point in his career it's hard to expect more than what he did last year. Rank Rashaad Penny Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions College Stats SEA Seattle has been looking for a Marshawn Lynch replacement for years and it's very possible Penny is the guy. He was amazing in college and will get every chance to take over as the starting running back. Rank Sony Michel Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions College Stats NE Michel is the ultimate boom or bust pick on draft day. The Patriots drafted him in the first round and we feel like he will get a solid workload, but inconsistencies is the biggest fear for any New England running back. Rank Jamaal Williams Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats GB The Green Bay running back situation is a hard one to figure out, but with Jones suspended you have to think Williams is the guy to own for Week 1. If he gets off to a decent start then he could hold onto that job all year. Rank Marlon Mack Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats IND The Colts drafted Nyheim Hines to help replace Frank Gore, but he is more of a third down back. This leaves Mack as the favorite for the early down work. He is an interested pick on draft day, but hard to rank him any higher. Rank Adrian Peterson Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats WAS The fact that the Redskins brought in Peterson tells us that they don't have much confidence in the potential Guice replacements. We think Peterson will be given every chance to be the early down back for the Skins. Rank Alfred Morris Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats SF Morris is the favorite for the early down work for the 49ers this season and he could be a serviceable RB3 this year. Rank Chris Carson Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats SEA When Carson took over as the starting running back for the Seahawks it looked like they had maybe found their guy. He got hurt though and then they drafted Penny making Carson a hard guy to trust on draft day. Rank C.J. Anderson Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats CAR Anderson had a productive year for the Broncos last season and he now has a new home with the Panthers. He should get most of the early down work, just don't expect many receptions with Christian McCaffrey in town. Rank Isaiah Crowell Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats NYJ Crowell will get plenty of touches on his new team, but he is this low because that offense should struggle as a whole. Rank Nick Chubb Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions College Stats CLE Chubb will have a chance to be the starting running back for the Browns. Until we get more clarity on this situation though it's hard to rank any of the Browns running backs any higher. 7 We like Jones, we just don't like his situation. The Bucs offense will be without their quarterback to start the season and overall this offense has struggled as of late. Rank Chris Thompson Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats WAS Before going down with an injury last year Thompson was having a great season. He will continue to be an involved change of pace back and he could have solid value in PPR leagues. Rank Carlos Hyde Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats CLE The Browns signed Hyde this off season and it looked like he would be the starter. Then they signed Chubb in the draft making this an extremely crowded backfield. Rank Matt Breida Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats SF We aren't completely sold that Jerick McKinnon is the answer for teh 49ers at running back. This makes Breida an interesting guy to target in the later rounds since he might prove to be the more durable back. Rank Devontae Booker Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats DEN We think Freeman will get every chance to be the starting running back for Denver, but Booker still has a shot and this makes him an interesting late round pick. Rank Duke Johnson Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats CLE With Hyde and Chubb both in Cleveland it's clear that Johnson won't get much early down work. He will continue to be one of the best PPR specialist in the league though and will still have solid value in most leagues. Rank Tarik Cohen Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats CHI The Bears offense should be better in 2018 and Cohen will be a big part of their weekly game plan. He won't get a ton of carries, but he will continue to be solid in PPR leagues. Rank Peyton Barber Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats TB Barber has been decent in his time with the Bucs thus far and it's possible he ends up being the running back to own out there. Our money is on Ronald Jones II to be the best back in Tampa, but it's possible this turns into somewhat of a nasty time share. Rank Rex Burkhead Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats NE The biggest issue with Burkhead is staying healthy and if he is able to play in 16 games then he will be a steal on draft day. Rank Aaron Jones Team Bye Games Played Rushing Rushing Receptions Stats GB We think Jones is the best overall running back on the Packers, but it's hard to rank him any higher with him being suspended the first two games of the year.
