4 PRE- ARRIVAL INFORMATION Tournament Structure Guarantee: 5 games - 50 minute games (2 x 25 min halves) - 5 minute half $me Team listed as the HOME team and will wear LIGHT shirt and socks. Team listed as the AWAY team will wear DARK shirt and socks. On the APP the AWAY team is the top/first team listed! In the SPORTNGIN schedule it has the AWAY/HOME team columns Roster Sizes: U16/U19 Age Divisions = 18 maximum players + 2 coaches U14/U12 Age Divisions = 14 maximum players + 2 coaches Schedule & Pools Schedules are posted online! Awards will occur immediately following the last pool game by the Vendor Village. Each Pool winner will be recognized by the Shoo$ng staff. Rosters DEADLINE PASSED! All Rosters were due by November 6th Any roster updates or changes aper November 6th can only happen at check in on the first day of the tournament. Players s on the roster MUST be the same affiliated with their Recruit Spot account if they have one. Players & coaches do NOT need to be USAFH members to compete Coaches must also provide THEIR personal on the roster Player Profiles and Updates All rosters will be submiqed to Coach Packet for the College Coaches Players can use Recruit Spot to update their profile informa$on. Players s on the roster MUST be the same affiliated with their Recruit Spot account if they have one.

7 TOURNAMENT INFORMATION Check- In Every Team must check- in 1.5 hours prior to the teams first game on Friday. ** OpEon to check in Thursday 2-6pm is also available! 8 TOURNAMENT INFORMATION Scorecards & Results EACH GAME At the conclusion of every game the field marshal will have the coaches from both teams and the officials sign the scorecard This scorecard will be the official result for that match All coaches must make sure to check that the score is correct prior to signing the card Immediately following the card being signed, the score will be submiqed to the Shoo$ng Star staff and posted on the Shooting Star Tournament App. Please have your parents, players and staff download the Shoo$ng Star Tournament App to follow the game results and pool standings Club Coach Hospitality DAILY! 9 TOURNAMENT INFORMATION Parking On site parking is available free of charge There will be parking aqendants present to assist Please refer to the facility map Aqachment Medical There will be three medical tents on the fields, these will also serve as water sta$ons The loca$on of each tent is on the facility map- Aqachment B These medical tents are also marked with an orange feather flag Athle$c trainers are available to assist with injuries that occur at the Shoo$ng Star Tournament EMT is also on site and will be ac$vated by the Athle$c Trainers if needed Emergency Procedures In case of emergency the Athle$c Trainers or Shoo$ng Star staff will blow three short blasts with the air horns. All Games should immediately stop All players, staff and spectators should find shelter Please refer to the Policy & Procedures guide for cancelled games- Aqachment C Team Tents Team tents are permiqed at the facility It is impera$ve that tents are NOT placed in roped off areas or designated no entrance zones Shoo$ng Star/ College Connec$on is not responsible for for any tents or belongings lep during the day or overnight

12 Waiver ADachment%F:%WAIVER% ATTACHMENT A Shooting Star Field Hockey Waiver PARTICIPANT WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT FOR MINOR For and in consideration of 3STEP Sports, LLC allowing the minor identified below (the "Minor") to participate in any 3STEP Sports event, including, but not limited to, athletic competitions, games, tournaments, practices, camps, clinics, tryouts and related activities sponsored by 3STEP Sports, LLC (the "Event" or "Events"); I, for myself, and on behalf of Minor, and the Minor's parents/legal guardians, heirs and next of kin, and any legal and personal representatives, executors, administrators, successors and assigns, hereby agree to and make the following contractual representations pursuant to this Waiver and Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement (the "Agreement"): 1. I hereby represent that (i) I am the parent or legal guardian of the Minor; (ii) the Minor is in good health and in proper physical condition to participate in the Event; and (iii) the Minor is not under the influence of alcohol or any illicit or prescription drugs which would in any way impair the Minor's ability to safely participate in the Event. I agree that it is my sole responsibility to determine whether the Minor is sufficiently fit and healthy enough to participate in the Event, and that I am responsible for the Minor's safety and well being at all times and under all circumstances while at the Event. 2. I understand and acknowledge the risks and dangers associated with the Minor's participation in the sport of field hockey, the Events and related activities, including without limitation, the potential for serious bodily injury, sickness and disease, permanent disability, paralysis and loss of life; loss of or damage to equipment/property; exposure to extreme conditions and circumstances; contact with other participants, coaches, umpires, officials, spectators, animals or other natural or manmade objects; dangers arising from adverse weather conditions; imperfect field conditions; land, water and surface hazards; equipment failure; inadequate safety measures; participants of varying skill levels; situations beyond the immediate control of the Event Organizers; and other undefined, not readily foreseeable and presently unknown risks and dangers ("Risks"). I understand that these Risks may be caused in whole or in part by the Minor's own actions or inactions, the actions or inactions of others participating in the Event, or the negligent acts or omissions of the Released Parties defined below, and on behalf of the Minor, I hereby expressly assume all such Risks and responsibility for any damages, liabilities, losses or expenses which may be incurred as a result of the Minor's participation in any Event. 3. I understand that the Minor is required to be familiar with and to abide by the Rules and Regulations established for the Event, including but not limited to the Competitive Rules adopted by 3STEP Sports, LLC and any safety regulations established for the benefit of all participants. I accept sole responsibility for the conduct and actions of the Minor while he or she is participating in the Event. On behalf of the Minor, I hereby Release, Waive and Covenant Not to Sue, and further agree to Indemnify, Defend and Hold Harmless the following parties: 3STEP Sports, LLC, its member athletes/players, clubs, coaches, umpires, trainers, officials; the Event Owners, Directors, Organizers, Promoters, Sponsors and Advertisers; the Host Facility/Venue and the Property Owners or Operators where the Event takes place; Law Enforcement Agencies and other Public Entities providing support for the Event; and each of their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, officers, directors, partners, shareholders, members, agents, employees and volunteers (Individually and Collectively, the "Released Parties" or "Event Organizers"), with respect to any liability, claim(s), demand(s), cause(s) of action, damage(s), loss or expense (including court costs and reasonable attorneys fees) of any kind or nature("liability") which may arise out of, result from, or relate in any way to the Minor's participation in the Event, including claims for Liability caused in whole or in part by the negligent acts or omissions of the Released Parties. I further agree that if, despite this Agreement, the Minor, or anyone on the Minor's behalf, makes a claim for Liability against any of the Released Parties, I will indemnify, defend and hold harmless each of the Released Parties from any such Liabilities which any may be incurred as the result of such claim. I hereby warrant that I am of legal age and authorized to enter into this Agreement on behalf of the Minor, that I have read this Agreement carefully, understand its terms and conditions, acknowledge that I will be giving up substantial legal rights by signing it (including the rights of the Minor, the Minor's parents/legal guardians, heirs and next of kin, and any legal and personal representatives, executors, administrators, successors and assigns), acknowledge that I have signed this Agreement without any inducement, assurance or guarantee, and intend for my signature to serve as confirmation of my complete and unconditional acceptance of the terms, conditions and provisions of this Agreement. This Agreement represents the complete understanding between the parties regarding these issues and no oral representations, statements or inducements have been made apart from this Agreement. 14 Policies, Rules & RegulaEons ATTACHMENT C Rules Governing Games: NCAA RULES AND REGULATIONS that are in effect for play as of 09/17 MODIFICATIONS FOR SHOOTING STAR 11v11 and 7v7 TOURNAMENTS: 2 x 25 minute running $me halves Each game will start on the hour Central Horn used as tournament $mer Half -$me will be 5 minutes from Central Horn and central horn will start clock for 2nd half At 55:00 of each hour, ALL players must line up facing video camera for Video Line-up. U16 and U19 games ONLY! 15 Policies, Rules & RegulaEons ATTACHMENT C Rules Governing Team/Player Eligibility: Only registered players for the SHOOTING STAR field hockey tournament and who agree to the following, may par$cipate in tournament games: Release and Waiver of Liability (form provided & handed in at registra$on) Team coaches must submit the Release and Waiver to check-in 1.5 hours PRIOR to their team s first game. Please have them organized for EACH team you have! Players may play up in age groups, but may NOT play down. No player may compete for, or be on a roster for, more than one team during the tournament. Any team with a player in viola$on of these rules will forfeit the game that this player is known to have competed in. Any player, fan or coach ejected from a game will be prohibited from compeeng in his/her team's next game. Decisions on the field will be the final ruling. Any disrespecvul behavior toward an official or other tournament personnel will result in expulsion for the remainder of the tournament. No ExcepEons, No Refunds. Spectators will need to show respect to all Officials, Players, Coaches & Staff. Bad behavior will not be tolerated. Should umpires or tournament directors deem that a spectator, player, or coach needs to be removed from the tournament site(s) of the tournament, it will be the responsibility of the COACH from the offender s team to remove the offender from the site. Scoring & Score ReporEng Each field will be assigned a Field Marshal Field Marshal will record the score on a scorecard for each game. At the end of each game both umpires will sign the scorecard to confirm final score and any misconducts or expulsions. At the end of each game both COACHES will sign the scorecard to confirm final score and accuracy Any challenges must be made immediately following the game with the Officials, opposing Coach and Field Marshal on that field Once the scorecard reaches the administra$on tent the score is considered final Once scorecard is complete with signatures, the Field Marshal shall text the score to the tournament Administrators. Scores will then be updated to the Shoo$ng Star APP!

16 Policies, Rules & RegulaEons ATTACHMENT C Refund Policy No refund of any kind for any team that registers and withdraws any$me on or aper April 1st, 2017 No refunds will be issued if the tournament is shortened in part for any reason, including inclement weather or any other "Act of God." No refund for any team that is removed from the tournament by the tournament director for using illegal players or behavior that requires the team to be removed from the tournament. Shoo$ng Star or it s staff will not be responsible for any expenses incurred by any team, club or organiza$on if the tournament is canceled in whole or in part. Weather Policy In the event of adverse weather or unplayable field condi$ons, the tournament director reserves the right to: - Reduce game $mes in order to catch up with schedule. - Finish games before inclement weather arrives, or to preserve field condi$ons. - Reschedule games, if possible. Every aqempt will be made to update cancella$ons on the website. However, weather condi$ons can change rapidly and all teams should be prepared to play as soon as weather and fields are playable. Updates will be announced on and on the Shoo$ng Star APP The directors reserve the right to cancel, shorten, or reschedule tournament games due to inclement weather, poor field condi$ons, or player and fan safety concerns. No refunds will be granted if these ac$ons are necessary. Thunder/Lightning Policy If thunder or lightning is observed play will be suspended immediately and players and fans will be asked to leave the fields to return to cars. Play will be allowed to resume 30 minutes aper the last sound of thunder or sigh$ng of lightning is observed which the tournament medical staff will determine. Every aqempt will be made to begin subsequent games on $me. Subsequent games will begin immediately aper preceding games. These games may consist of one 30 minute running $me period un$l games are back on schedule. Once games are back on schedule they will revert to normal tournament game $me procedures.
