2 ELITE SKILLS CAMP Who: Players playing U14 or above at an advanced level (AA, AAA, Junior, or College). Application necessary for participation. Space limited to 40 players! (20 players per group) What: - Comprehensive on-ice and off-ice elite skills and tactics camp. Each component of each day is designed to compliment the next, resulting in a fully integrated skills development program. - Fundamental on and off ice skills will be isolated and progressed upon within a sequential process allowing for understanding and mastery. On-ice skills/tactics addressed throughout the week will include skating (extensive edge work), puck skills, shot releases, passing, and proper weight transfers. - Afternoon session will provide players the opportunity to transfer skills learned in the morning into various small area games. Confined space maximizes touches on pucks, forces players into making quick decisions, provide for ample opportunities for the recognition of in game situations/patterns, and encourage creativity and improvisation. - The off-ice curriculum will include basic fundamental movements and how to properly perform them, and an education into what an appropriate off-ice program looks like. Additionally, outdoor activities will supplement the skills executed during on-ice sessions. - Each day will also include a seminar about a specific topic where parents are welcome to join! Topics include The Road to College, Strength and Conditioning, NCAA Clearinghouse Rules and much more! - Chalk Talk/Video Analysis: Coaches will hold a daily chalk talk breaking down specific technical skills. Archived NHL footage of players performing skills will be broken done. - Analyzed skills will align with the skills campers will be performing/learning on that day. Through the use of the Coach s Eye Software, each camper will receive analyzed camp footage breaking done their skating and puck skills following the conclusion of the camp. - Camp footage will be accompanied by voice overs providing proper instruction into executing the various skills addressed throughout the week. 4 JONATHAN SUCESE SKILLS CAMP Who: All players looking to improve all parts of their game. Ages accepted are Camp will be separated based on enrollment, age, and skill. What: - All day summer camp instructed and directed by Jonathan Sucese, Potomac Patriots U16 High Performance Coach and Strength Coach. - This camp will target all aspects of a player's game by touching on skills in every area of the game. Each day will address a specific theme with a progression of drills and small area games that are suitable for the player's developmental level and skill. - Participants will also spend a portion of each day playing games and activities off the ice that crossover directly to that day's theme. - The goal of the camp is to provide structured instruction and a fun atmosphere that fosters development and enjoyment of the game and is open to all levels of skaters! 5 COACH CHAPPY S COMPLETE DEVELOPMENT CAMP Who: This camp was designed to assist ALL players (7-18) at EVERY point in their hockey careers get to that next level of play!!!
