3 Brewery Expertise Dimple Plate Technology The ice water/glycol flows through the integrated wrap-around thermoplates that cover the inner vessel wall. Made using Fabdec s unique dimple plate technology, plates are tested to high pressure for strength and durability. Unrivalled Insulation Heat exchanger Inner vessel Polyurethane CFC-free insulation is injected between the inner and outer cladding. This creates high rigidity and excellent insulation, thereby reducing heat loss and running costs. 4 Hot and Cold Liquor Tanks Hot liquor tanks are used to heat the strike and sparge water. Cold liquor tanks cool the wort down to a fermentable temperature after boiling. 6 Mash Tuns These are used in the mashing process to convert the starches in crushed grains into sugars for fermentation, also known as the sparging process. 8 Brewing Kettles & Wort Coppers These are used after the mashing process for boiling with hops and other flavourings. Unrivalled PU foam insulation. The outer cladding feels cold to the touch. 10 Hopback/Underback These are separation vessels between the mash tun and kettle. Once sealed whole leaf hops can be used to contribute to volatile aroma compunds lost in the boil. 11 Hop Master Hop Master ensures a consistent, efficient extraction of the oils and aromas from dry hops/hop pellets into your beer. Recirculating the beer through the Hop Master increases contact with the hops, thus giving a more effective infusion of the hop constituents. The design also helps ensure any large particles are separated from the beer products.
