3 WELCOME A hearty Texas welcome to everyone! Bubba and I are delighted that you are a part of this year s Blue Ridge Ranch Sale. We are still amazed at how it has grown from the initial year, and so much of the credit goes to faithful friends and fellow Longhorn breeders like you. We are pleased once again to offer a combination of fun, food, fellowship and fine cattle for your enjoyment. We have adhered to our usual sale model, and we are offering a unique collection of amenities together with the highest caliber of sale stock todate. We take our role as hosts very seriously and welcome everyone from first year attendees to those who have been with us from the outset. As usual, we have on display some of our finest Longhorns as well as the ambiance of loose cows, goats, sheep, buffalo, etc. wandering in and about as part of the fun. I extend my personal thanks to everyone who has had a hand in staging this year s sale. 5 SCHEDULE DIRECTIONS Approaching Llano from the North, enter on State Highway 16 and come all the way through town and continue South toward Fredericksburg. From the East, approach Llano on State Highway 29 and turn left onto Highway 16 at the major intersection, coming all the way through town. From the West, approach Llano on Highway 29 and turn right onto Highway 16 at the major intersection, coming all the way through town. From the South via State highway 71, turn left at the intersection with Highway 16. If coming North on Highway 16 from Fredericksburg, turn right onto County Road 312 approximately one mile south of town. All others who are heading South out of town, as directed above, come approximately one mile South of town, passing the high school on the right and the entrance way to the Wheelis Ranch. At the green highway sign marked County Road 312, turn left and go about one mile, across the first cattle guard and a low water crossing. As you approach the second cattle guard, slow down and turn left through the stone pillars immediately beyond the cattle guard. The Blue Ridge sign and flags will make it impossible to miss, and there will be signs posted along the way to guide you.
