Not complying with the GBO is an offence. This means that everyone is responsible for managing biosecurity risks that are: under their control and that they know about, or should reasonably be expected to know about. Under the GBO, individuals and organisations whose activities pose a biosecurity risk must: take all reasonable and practical steps to prevent or minimise each biosecurity risk minimise the likelihood of causing a biosecurity event, and limit the consequences if such an event is caused. CALVING OF ANIMALS No cow expected to calve or with a calf born after 1st August 2018 will be permitted entry onto the grounds and will be withdrawn from the competition. Any cow or heifer that calves after arrival at the showgrounds will be withdrawn from competition and will be removed from public exhibition and placed in an isolated stall nominated by the RNA unless permission to the contrary is given by the Council Stewards or, in their absence, by a Veterinary Surgeon. The health statement/declaration must not be false, incomplete or misleading.
