The King and the Queen will be present and reign over all events during the 4-H Fair Week and present awards at events. Please do not run if you cannot attend fair week. 3. Candidates must be in at least the third year of 4-H Club work. 4. Candidates must be a member in good standing. 5. Candidates may enter each year, but may win only once H members do not have to be nominated by their club. 7. Members will be assigned an interview time during Achievement Day. 8. Members will prepare a 5 minute speech on How 4-H has impacted my life. 9. Those applying will receive a more detailed application that should be completed and returned with them the day of the contest. This will be sent if an address has been supplied or be regular mail. The Keith Edwards Memorial Fund generously funds this event. The queen receives a tiara, the king receives a medallion and both receive a $50 gift certificate. Teams of six (a boy and a girl 8-10, a boy and girl and a boy and girl 14 and over) will be formed based on registrations. 2. You must be a registered participant to be in the arena. 3. You must be registered by June 25 to receive a Super Farmer T-Shirt. 4. After your team finishes an event they should return to their assigned letter area in the arena. 5. Members will be excused from the arena after elimination from the tugof-war. 6. $5.00 per person registration. (Non-refundable) Make checks payable to Lafayette County 4-H. All participants must pay the $5.00 registration fee. Pre-registration required by June 25 to guarantee a Super Farmer T-Shirt. 7. If you want a T-shirt but do not want to participate in the Super Farmer Contest, there is a $5 fee for the shirt. Committee members also need to pay $5 for a t-shirt.
