TIMING Timing will be adapted depending on each race s format and constraints. All Participants will be issued with an electronic chip when they pick up their race numbers and frame plates (chip in the form of a strip stuck behind each frame plate) which will automatically be initialised on the start line. A Participant who doesn t follow the route cannot be placed at the finish. The electronic detection system has been selected according to strict reliability criteria. Despite tests conducted by the manufacturers, a very low percentage of cases of non-detection remains. Due to the lack of information resulting from this non-detection, the Organiser may be unable to show the official or real time for the Participant concerned in the ranking. The Organiser cannot be held responsible for this. XC / EnduRoc / EnduRoc Electrique / Tri Roc Races The EnduRoc and the EnduRoc Electrique rankings will be established by adding the time taken for each special. It is strictly forbidden to change bikes or wheels during a race. Participants are allowed to offer one another technical assistance. As set out in the regulations (Art of the UCI Cycling Regulations), competitors and their UCI MTB or national teams are responsible for placing their equipment in the technical assistance area. Only the riders themselves or their teammates (from the same UCI MTB team or the same national team) can repair or change equipment within this area. Members from the same UCI MTB team or national team are also allowed to provide technical assistance to one another outside these areas (Art of the UCI Cycling Regulations). The technical assistance areas are the same as feeding areas. No follower vehicles are allowed. Only official motorcycles are allowed on the circuit; these will be clearly marked and their riders will be wearing official race numbers. There will be a limited number for each race, and they will be easy to identify: An opening motorcycle; A race commentary motorcycle for the finish line; A race commissioner s motorcycle; A press motorcycle (camera); A doctor s motorcycle; A broom motorcycle. If a Participant falls during the EnduRoc, the other riders are responsible for stopping to raise the alarm. In the Tri Roc, Participants are not allowed to help one another

12 11. Participants can dispose of waste in these areas, which will be marked by netting placed on the ground. The locations of these areas will be published on the Event s website ( Participants must hold onto their litter and wrappers and wait until they reach the places set up by the organisation to dispose of them. Any contestant seen breaking these rules will be disqualified from the race in question by an official controller or a member of the organisation. 12. These rankings will take into account the categories specific to each race, which have been determined in advance. Not every category awards prizes to its winners. Prize winners must be present at the prize giving ceremony, or else they will not receive their prizes. Any Participant who is absent will not receive his / her prize. Some races give rise to prizes as specified in the table below. Only Participants with licences issued by cycling federations affiliated with the UCI are eligible to receive prize money. The Organiser will pay the total prize money to the Fédération Française de Cyclisme, which will be responsible for awarding prize money to Participants or their national federations. WITHDRAWALS

14 If a Participant wishes to withdraw for any reason other than injury, he should, if at all possible, do so at one of the feeding stations. He / she should find a member of the organisation present on the spot, who will permanently invalidate his / her race number. Return transportation for Participants and bikes will be available at each of these points. 15. TIME LIMITS To guarantee Participants safety, it is vital that they do not go over the time limit set for the end of each race. For Participants who are outside these times at the end of the race, compulsory secondary routes will be indicated. PERMANENT OPERATION: TURN-OFF POINTS Turn-off times will be set up at various points along the course (feeding stations), corresponding to the times after which it will no longer be possible for riders to leave the location by the initial route. All Participants exceeding these times will be directed towards a secondary route and will not appear in the race rankings. The organisation will provide an end-of-race system to follow the last Participant. In the Tri Roc, all Participants will need to have reached the transition area between mountain biking and running (T2), at the latest 4 hours after the race start. After this point, Participants will not be allowed to take part in the running stage. The chief race steward has the power to modify this elimination cut-off time. 16. MEDICAL AID Medical assistance will be provided by doctors and mobile emergency aid units. If they are needed, these units can be called by the signallers posted along each course, who are equipped with radio transmitters. If advised to do so by a doctor, the organisation reserves the right to withdraw any person deemed unfit to continue from the race and have them removed from the course. Any Participant who requests attention from a doctor or first-aid worker agrees to fully accept their authority and judgement.
