5 K IFORMATIO THE LIE-U: Runners line up according to how they think they will finish - fast runners in the front, slow runners in the back, walkers behind runners This prevents congestion on the course You want to be amongst the participants who will be running or walking the same pace as you You don t want to be passed by a crowd of people, and you don t want to be dodging and weaving around people slower than you Here is a quick guide to help you line up: 9 min or less/mile: Fast runners head straight to the front of the line 9-10 min mile: Quick runners line up just behind the fast runners in the front min mile: You are a jogger; head to the middle of the line Run/walk mix: If you plan to mix jogging and walking, head back behind the joggers in the middle of the line Walkers/strollers/ dogs: Slowest walkers to the back of the line and take your time If you choose to run with a dog, baby jogger or stroller, you must line up in the back of all runners It is your responsibility to make sure the dog, jogger or stroller does not impede other runners You must take extra precautions for your safety, your child s safety, and the safety of other runners around you We reserve the right to pull any person from the race who is endangering other runners or themselves CA MY FRIED REGISTER THE MORIG OF THE EVET? OCE I COMLETE THE K, HOW WILL I KOW MY TIME? If you have opted to be timed, you can look up your time at wwwanti-cancerchallengeorg and enter your bib number I HAVE EVER DOE A K WHAT IS A BIB? A race bib is a number that you pin to the front of your shirt so race officials know you are an official participant You will also use your bib number to check your time after the race if you opted to be timed It is important to have your bib securely fastened on your shirt so you are not uncomfortable during the race When you pick up your race packet, you will be given a race bib, four safety pins, and a timing chip osition your bib on your shirt and pin one corner at a time, starting with the top of the bib It is best to position the bib across your abdomen and not your chest Make sure the bib is not too low as it will move a lot if it is close to your legs HOW FAR IS K?
