This gives the Club a significant logistical problem with 2 large events running back to back. This has led to the one off decision to shorten the Regatta to conclude on Friday August 12 th. We apologize for this but there is no other choice. The LDYC Committee asks for the help and assistance of all Regatta participants in removing their SOD s and other dinghies from the LDYC Jetties and Launching Areas and, preferably because of space requirements, removing them from the Club s premises for the duration of the Optimist Nationals.
