2 Page 1 of 7 The real losers are those who would risk loss for themselves and for their families on the Day of Resurrection. سورة الزمر ( 93 ) و ال ذ ين كفر وا ب آي ات ا لل أ و ل ئ ك ه م ا ل اس ر ون } 36 { And the losers are only those who disbelieve His Revelations. سورة آل عمران ( 9 ) ومن ي ب تغ غ ي اإل س ال م د ين ا فل ن ي ق بل م ن ه وه و ف اآلخ رة م ن ا ل اس ر ين } 58 { And whoever seeks (and adopts) a way other than Islam (this way of submission), that will not be accepted from him and in the Life to come he will be among the losers. سورة المائدة ( 5 ) ومن ي ك ف ر ب اإل ميان فقد حب ط عمل ه وه و ف اآلخ رة م ن ا ل اس ر ين } 8 { Whoever rejects the way of Faith, all the deeds of his life will become vain and he will be a bankrupt in the Hereafter. سورة المنافقون ( 39 ) ي ا أ ي ها ال ذ ين آمن وا ل ت ل ه ك م أ م وال ك م و ل أ و ل د ك م عن ك ر اهل ومن ي ف ل ل ك فأ و ل ئ ك ه م ا ل اس ر ون } 9 { O you who have believed, let not your possessions and your children distract you from the remembrance of Allah." Man is surely in loss, except those who believed and did good works, and exhorted one another to Truth, and exhorted one another to patience. سورة األنعام ( 3 ) ق د خس ر ال ذ ين كذ ب وا ب ل قاء ا لل ح ت إ ا جاء ت م الس اعة ب غ تة ق ال وا ي ا حس رتنا ع ل ما فر ط نا ف يها وه م ي م ل ون أ و زاره م ع ل ظ ه ور ه م أ ل ساء ما ي ز ر ون }61{ وما ا ل ي اة الد ن يا إ ل ل ب و ل و ول لد ار اآلخ رة خ ي ل ل ذ ين يت ق ون أفال ت ق ل ون } 62 { Losers indeed are those who consider it a lie that they will ever have a meeting with Allah. When the Hour overtakes them unawares, they will exclaim, "Alas! how negligent we have been of this matter!" and they will be carrying the burdens of their sins on their backs: behold, how heavy is the burden they are carrying! This worldly life is but a sport and pastime. In fact, the abode of the Hereafter is better for those who desire to be safe from harm. Will you not, then, use your understanding? 4 Page 3 of 7 سورة الكهف ( 31 ) ق ل هل ن نب ئ ك م ب ا ل خ سر ين أ ع ما ل }106{ وه م ي سب ون أ ن م ي س ن ون ص ن ا }101{ ال ذ ين ضل س ي ه م ف ا ل ي اة الد ن يا أ ول ئ ك ال ذ ين كفر وا ب آي ات رب ه م ول قائ ه فحب طت أ ع ما ل م فال ن ق يم ل م ي و م ال ق ي امة وز ن ا } 108 { (O Muhammad) say to them, "Should We tell you who are the most unsuccessful people and miserable failures in regard to their deeds? They are those, whose endeavors, in the worldly life, had all gone astray from the Right Way but all along they were under the delusion that everything they were doing, was rightly directed: those are the people who rejected the Signs of their Lord and did not believe that they would ever go before Him. Therefore all their deeds were lost, for We will assign no weight to them on the Day of Resurrection. سورة النمل ( 72 ) إ ن ال ذ ين ل ي ؤ م ن ون ب اآل خ رة زي ن ا ل م أ ع ما ل م فه م ي مه ون }1{ أ و ل ئ ك ال ذ ين ل م س وء ال ذاب وه م ف اآل خ رة ه م ا ل خ سر ون } 8 { The fact is that We have made the misdeeds of those who deny the Hereafter seem fair to them; therefore, they stray about blindly. 5 Page 4 of 7 سورة الزمر ( 93 ) ق ل إ ن ا ل اس ر ين ال ذ ي ن خس ر وا أ نف سه م ق ه م ا ل ب ني }18{ ل م م ن فو ل ك ه و ا ل س ران ظ ل ل ل ك ي و ف ا لل ب ه ع باده ي ا ع باد فات ق ون }13{ ه ل يه م ي و م ال ق يامة أ ل وأ ظ ل ل م ن الن ار وم ن ت ت ه م Say, "The real losers are those who would risk loss for themselves and for their families on the Day of Resurrection." Note it well: this is the real loss. They shall have the canopies of fire covering them from above them and also from beneath them. This is the doom of which Allah frightens His servants. So, O My servants, avoid My wrath. سورة الجاثية ( 55 ) ق ل ا لل ي ي يك م ث م مي يت ك م ث م ي م ك م إ ل ي و م ال ق ي امة ل ريب ف يه ول ك ن أ كثر الن اس ل ي لم ون } 23 { و لل م ل ك الس ماوات وا ل رض وي وم تق وم الس اعة ي و مئ ذ ي سر ا ل ب ط ل ون } 22 { (O Prophet) say to them, "It is Allah Who gives you life, then He causes your death, then He will gather you together on the Day of Resurrection, which is sure to come, but most people do not know. To Allah belongs the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, and when the Day the Hour of Resurrection arrives, the worshipers of falsehood on that Day shall be doomed to loss. 6 Page 5 of 7 سورة المؤمنون ( 79 )...وم ن ورائ ه م ب ر زخ إ ل ي و م ي ب ث ون }100{ فإ ا ن ف خ ف الص ور فال أنساب ب ي نه م ي و مئ ذ و ل يتساءل ون } 101 { فمن ثق ل ت مواز ين ه فأ و لئ ك ه م ا ل ف ل ح ون } 102 { ومن خف ت مواز ين ه فأ و ل ئ ك ال ذ ين خس ر وا أ نف سه م ون }101{ ف جهن م خال د ون } 106 { تل فح و ج و هه م الن ار وه م ف يها ك ا ل For now there is a barrier (for the dead) up to the Day when they shall be raised up again. Then, when the Trumpet will be blown, all (worldly) relations between them shall cease to function and they will not inquire about one another. Then only those whose Scales will be heavy, will attain success; and those, whose scales will be light, will be the people who made themselves liable to loss they shall abide in Hell for ever. The "Fire" will scorch their faces so as to expose their jaws. سورة يونس ( 30 ) وي و م ي ش ر ه م ك أ ن ل م ي ل بث وا إ ل ساعة م ن الن هار ي ت ارف ون ب ي نه م ق د خس ر ال ذ ين كذ ب وا ب ل قاء ا لل وما ك ان وا م ه تد ين } 18 { (Today these people are intoxicated with the life of this world but) on the Day when Allah will muster them they will feel as if they had stayed (in this world) for only an hour or so in order to have acquaintance with one another. (At that time they will realize that) they who disbelieved in their meeting with Allah were losers indeed and were not rightly guided. Part 2 Chapter 10 (The Losers and the Greatest Loss) Page 5

7 Page 6 of 7 سورة األرعاف ( 2 ) وال وز ن ي و مئ ذ ا ل ق فمن ثق ل ت مواز ين ه فأ و ل ئ ك ه م ا ل ف ل ح ون }5{ ومن خف ت مواز ين ه فأ و ل ئ ك ال ذ ين خس ر وا أ نف سه م ب ا ك ان وا ب آي ات نا ي ظ ل م ون } 9 { On that Day the weight will be identical with the Truth: accordingly those whose scales will be heavy will alone come out successful. And those whose scales will be light will be the ones who will have incurred loss upon themselves because they had been unjust to Our Revelations. سورة الشورى )57( وترى الظ ا ل ني ل ا رأ و ا ال ذاب يق ول ون هل إ ل مرد م ن سب يل }11{ وتراه م ي رض ون عل ي ها خاش ني م ن الذ ل ي نظ ر ون م ن طر ف خف ي وقال ال ذ ين آمن وا إ ن ا ل اس ر ين ال ذ ين خس ر وا أ نف سه م وأ ه ل يه م ي و م ال ق يامة أ ل إ ن الظ ا ل ني ف ع ذاب م ق يم } 18 { وما ك ان ل م م ن أ و ل ياء ي نص ر و ن م م ن د ون ا لل ومن ي ض ل ل ا لل فما ل ه م ن سب يل } 13 { اس تج يب وا ل رب ك م م ن قب ل أن ي أ ت ي و م ل مرد ل ه م ن ا لل ما ل ك م م ن م ل جأ ي و مئ ذ وما ل ك م م ن ن ك ي } 12 { You will see that when the wrongdoers see the torment, they will say. "Is there any way back?" And you will see that when they are brought before Hell, they shall be downcast with disgrace and shall look at it with stealthy glances. At that time those who had believed, will say, "The real losers indeed are those who have lost themselves and their followers on this Resurrection Day." Beware! The wrongdoers shall suffer an everlasting torment, and they will have no protectors and guardians, who could come to their help against Allah. The one whom Allah lets go astray has no way of escape.
