1 So where are we headed? With gas prices remaining at elevated levels, with no signs of easing, T2 boats are well positioned to capitalize on a segment of boating enthusiasts who can affordably enjoy boating in a fuel efficient vessel that can be towed with the family car. T2 Boats are physically tested by U.S. Coast Guard authorities. According to testing agents, a majority of the boats they test fail at least one of these five critical mandates. T2 Boats have passed these stringent requirements. We use the phrase "own a boat that doesn't own you." The T2's are built for ease of towing, launching and retrieving. No windshield. Why? The boats are designed to redirect wind away from passenger s bodies yet provide an exhilarating wind in your face experience. Boat operators and passengers need a clear, unobstructed field of vision. Windshields become glazed mostly due to debris from being towed immediately behind a tow vehicle at highway speeds. Oddly, manufacturers install wipers on cars but not on boats, and boats get wet every time they are used. As a result the boat operator stands up to look over the windshield, which creates another unsafe condition. A few summers ago we sold a Genesis to a man and his wife who owned a lake house on a restricted horsepower lake. We ended up selling nine to others who saw it. Business snowballed because the best salesperson is a happy customer! Since our inception we ve operated as a factory to consumer direct builder. Nearly all of our boats sold were purchased sight unseen. Everyone who has ever taken a test drive has bought a boat. We get frequent requests by those who want to see a T2 in person and ask for the dealer nearest to them. One customer drove from Vancouver British Columbia to purchase a boat. We built our first boat in 2007 and our marketing strategy is to get as many of these beautiful boats on the water as possible. We accomplish that by making a superior boat at single digit profit margins. The other prong of our growth model is patience. We re committed to safety. Manufacturers get into hot water when they rush a product to market under pressure to service debt. We are debt free. We stay in close contact with owners to ensure there are/were no warranty or defect issues. This comfort level in our design and manufacturing has provided evidence that we re now positioned for Phase II of our business plan, a family of dealers guided by the same principals for success.
