SNOLAB Science Objectives Particle Astrophysics: Low energy solar neutrinos Search for dark matter Search for neutrinoless double beta decay Supernova neutrino detection Geological Science Biology
Not Very Likely Experiments that are thought to not be appropriate for SNOLAB are: Mega tonne scale experiments. Long baseline detectors for neutrino oscillation experiments. Preference given to experiments that: Require the depth Are feasible within the constraints of: Available space, material transport,...

Lab Infrastructure: Clean Room Entire Lab will be a class 2000 clean room. Ventilation system designed for 10 air changes per hour through HEPA filters. Positive pressure from Cleanest spaces to dirtiest.
Ventilation: Air Handler Units HEPA Filter Cooling Coils NaOH Impregnated Charcoal Filters Coarse Filters HEPA Filter Coarse Filters 10 Air Changes per hour
Ventilation: Charcoal Filtering NaOH impregnated charcoal filters on air intake to scrub H2S (3 10 ppb) observed in the mine air.
Ventilation: Mine Pressure Swings Mine pressure can change suddenly due to ventilation fans being turned on/off. SNOLAB ventilation will compensate by increasing make up air to lab (nominal 7300 CFM, max 12,000 CFM) and shutting down exhaust fans.
When Pressure Swings Go Bad...
