Je používaný v kombinácii so zariadením reflex fillsoft (zmäkčovacie zariadenie vody pre vykurovacie systémy) ako merací prístroj kapacity zmäkčenej vody pomocou vymeniteľnej náplne (cartridge). Množstvo už zmäkčenej vody, aktuálne prietokové množstvo ako aj životnosť vymeniteľnej náplne (cartridgeu) od jej inštalácie sú zobrazené na displeji. Uvedenie do prevádzky, testovanie a servis musí byť vykonaný len odborným pracovníkom. Len originálne náhradné diely môžu byť použité v prípade výmeny, resp. servisného zásahu. Nedodržanie týchto pokynov môže viesť k poškodeniu samotného zariadenia a následne k poškodeniu systému, kde je zariadenie nainštalované The reflex fillmeter is an electronic water meter with capacity control. It is used in combination with reflex fillsoft (water softening device for heating systems acc. to VDI 2035, Art.-No or ) as a measuring instrument for the soft water capacity of the used ion exchanger cartridge(s). Besides the soft water capacity the accumulated amount of water, the current flow rate, as well as the service life of the cartridge since its installation are displayed. The reflex fillmeter can also be used in other systems, in which ion exchangers have to be controlled. In addition, the measuring instrument is suitable for the monitoring of the max. permissible fluid quantity. In this range of applications only water according to the permissible operating parameters (temperature, pressure) must be delivered. The place of installation has to be dry. Initial start-ups, testing and maintenance work must only be carried out by authorized persons. When parts or cartridges are replaced, only genuine manufacturer s parts may be used. Any disregard of these instructions may lead to the destruction of the fitting and to faults in the system. Installation with reflex fillsoft The ball valve of the fillsoft is turned (discharge valve behind the shut-off) und has to be connected with the screwing (G ¾ x Rp ½). The provided threaded connection (G ¾ x Rp ½) is screwed with the fillmeter. The fillmeter has to be installed between the threaded connections with the flat sealings. The group of fittings has to be assembled towards the direction of the flow ( label on the bottom of the control unit (grey)) after the filter cartridge. It is important to note the correct direction of the flow for all components ( arrow sign on components). The governing local regulations for installations (e.g. DIN, DVGW, etc.) are to be followed. Installation and startup must only be performed by skilled installation technicians. Assembly of the components is to be carried out as shown in fig. 1. We recommend Teflon tape for sealing the screw connections, where no flat gasket is provided.

4 4 Prvé uvedenie do prevádzky/ Initial start-up Elektronický vodomer fillmeter je pripravený na zapojenie. V mieste montáže je potrebná el. prípojka 230V/50Hz. Zobrazenie požadovaných parametrov a podmienok vyplýva z LCD displeja a troch LED diód. Pomocou troch tlačidiel (tlačidlo hore, dole a tlačidlo Mode(nastavenie)) je možné vykonať nevyhnutné vstupy do zariadenia. The fillmeter is ready to be plugged. There has to be an earthing type plug 230 V / 50 Hz at the place of installation. If required, the connection of the dry contact (collective alert) must be performed by a qualified electrician according to the applicable local VDE regulations. The display of the required parameters and conditions result from a LCD and three illuminating diodes. Three buttons (Up/Down buttons and Mode button) enable the necessary entries ( fig. 3). A dry contact for external signalization is available.. Objem zmäkčenej vody (KW) je potrebné vypočítať, alebo je priamo napísaný v návode z výroby na vymeniteľnej náplni (cartridge). Napríklad s reflex fillsoft: Fillsoft I 6000 ( lx dh) Fillsoft II ( lx dh) Initial start-up with reflex fillsoft or a ion exchanger purifier The general water hardness level at the place of installation needs to be acquired (e.g. by using reflex GH General hardness level measuring equipment - Art.-No ). The soft water capacity (KW) needs to be calculated or can also be seen from the manufacturer s instructions of the ion exchanger. For example with reflex fillsoft :

5 5 Pomocou tlačidla Mode ( podrž 5 sekúnd ) vstúpite do servisného menu (displej svieti žlto). Na displeji sa objaví KW ( zmäkčená voda W a objem K ). Hodnotu objemu zmäkčenej vody KW nastavíte pomocou tlačidiel hore alebo dole ( od do po tisícoch). Via the button Mode (press for 5 s) the initial start-up mode can be selected (LED parameter flashes yellow). KW appears. In this case the W (soft water) K (capacity) KW has to be set via the arrow keys (6.000 up to in steps of 1000). Po opätovnom stlačení tlačidla Mode je predošlá vybraná hodnota KW automaticky uložená a na displeji sa zobrazí ( MON 12,18 alebo 24 ) nastavenie času (doby) do nadchádzajúcej výmeny náhradnej náplne cartridge. Požadovanú hodnotu nastavíte pomocou tlačidiel hore a dole. Maximálne po 18 mesiacoch by mal byť cartridge vymenený. By pressing the button Mode again KW is stored and the entry of the German hardness degree dh (select via the arrow buttons) is retrieved (1 50). Po opätovnom stlačení tlačidla Mode je predošlé nastavenie uložené a zobrazí sa hodnota tvrdosti vody v Nemeckých stupňoch dh, ktorú je možné nastaviť pomocou tlačidiel hore a dole na hodnotu od dh. Ak nie je použitá zmiešavacia armatúra softmix, tak nastavovacia hodnota na displeji zodpovedá aktuálnej hodnote tvrdosti vody na vstupe do zariadenia fillsoft. V prípade použitia zmiešavacej armatúry softmix je nastavovacia hodnota tvrdosti vody zadávaná ako rozdiel tvrdostí vody na vstupe do fillsoftu a na výstupe zariadenia softmix. Repeated pressing of the button Mode finishes the entry and the LED operation flashes green. Až po stlačení všetkých troch tlačidiel súčasne, bude celkové množstvo zmäkčenej vody GGes nanovo prepočítané a uležené. Až teraz je uvedenie do prevádzky fillmetru ukončené. Not until pressing all three buttons simultaneously the water softening volume GGes is recalculated and stored. Only now the initial start-up of the fillmeter is completed.

6 6 Displej/Display Na displeji je zobrazený objem zmäkčenej vody G ( litre), kt. bola vypočítaná nasledovne: GGes=KW/dH ( je počas procesu rovné G (l) ) Hodnota zmäkčenej vody GGes je rovnaká max. možnému počiatočnému objemu zmäkčenej vody, ktoré je možné zmäkčiť novou vymeniteľnou náplňou cartridge. Hodnota G ukazuje objem, ktorý je ešte možné zmäkčiť s aktuálnym cartridgeom. Now the display shows the soft water quantity G [l], which has been calculated as follows: GGes=KW/ dh (is during commissioning equated to G) The water softening volume GGes is equivalent to the initial maximum soft water quantity (0 dh), which can be softened by the cartridge (cartridge condition: new). G shows the current soft water quantity, which is left to be softened with the installed cartridge. Po stlačení tlačidla Mode sa na displeji zobrazí aktuálne prietokové množstvo U( l/min). By pressing the button Mode quickly for one time the display changes to the current flow rate U [l/min]. Po opätovnom stlačení tlačidla Mode sa na displeji zobrazí hodnota t (l), kt. zobrazuje množstvo (litre) už pretečenej zmäkčenej vody od počiatočnej inštalácie zariadenia. By pressing the button Mode again the so far accumulated water volume t [l] is shown on the display, which has been recorded by the water meter since the installation.

7 7 Po opätovnom stlačení tlačidla Mode sa na displeji sa zobrazí hodnota MON, čo je doba ( v mesiacoch) ostávajúca do nadchádzajúcej výmeny náhradnej náplne cartridge. Maximálne po 18 mesiacoch by mal byť cartridge vymenený. By pressing the button Mode again the display changes to the indication in months MON of the time remaining (max. 18 months) until the next replacement of the cartridge. After a maximum of 18 months the ion exchanger resin should be exchanged or regenerated. Po 10 sekundách sa displej automaticky vráti na zobrazenie hodnoty G. After 10 s the display returns and G appears.

8 8 Varovné hlásenia/alert mode Objem, ktorý preteká cez vodomer, je sústavne odčítavaný od hodnoty G a na displeji zobrazuje koľko litrov je ešte možné zmäkčiť aktuálnym cartridgeom. Ak hodnota G = 0,1 x GGes (kapacita cartridgeu je len 10%), displej začne svietiť na červeno a zvukové hlásenie je aktivované. The volume, which is flowing through the water meter, is permanently subtracted from the G-value and the display shows the available capacity of the softening cartridge left. If G = 0.1*GGes (i.e. the capacity of the softening cartridge is only by 10 %), the LED display turns to red and the buzzer is activated. The dry contact (collective alert) is closed. Ak ubehlo 18 mesiacov od poslednej výmeny cartridgeu, displej začne svietiť na červeno a zvukové hlásenie je aktivované. If 18 months have passed since the last replacement of the cartridge the LED turns to red and the buzzer is activated. The dry contact is closed. Výmena cartridgeu/cartridge replacement Po výmene cartridgeu je hodnota G resetovaná na požadovanú hodnotu GGes a displej začne opätovne svietiť na zeleno až po stlačení všetkých troch tlačidiel súčasne (Mode, tlačidlo hore, tlačidlo dole ). Varovanie ostáva aktívne až kým nie sú stlačené všetky tri tlačidlá súčasne. If a replacement of the cartridge has taken place, the value G is re-set to the initial value GGes and the green LED flashes again by simultaneously pressing of the the three buttons. The alert remains activated until the value G is re-set to the initial value GGes by pressing the three buttons simultaneously.

9 9 Prvé uvedenie do prevádzky pre iné použitie Ak má byť fillmeter použitý na vyvolanie funkcie alarmu pre prietok určitého objemu G litrov vody, je potrebné zadať vhodné hodnoty KW dh, aby bol interne spočítaný požadovaný objem G. Hodnota KW musí byť zvolená v rozsahu hodnôt od 6000 do Rozsah hodnôt tvrdosti dh dovoľuje zadanie 1 až 50. Pretože reflex fillmeter bol vyvinutý pre kontrolu kapacity na zmäkčovanie vody, pre iné použitie je nutné vykonať predbežný výpočet. Po zadaní nejakej hodnoty KW bude hodnota pre dh spočítaná nasledovne. dh = 4000 ( do )/( Gx1,1) ( zadanie je možné len v krokoch po celých tisícoch) Pokiaľ by vypočítaná hodnota pre dh mala ležať mimo rozsah zadávania, nad hodnotou 50, tak je nutné zvoliť menšiu hodnotu KW, tým sa dosiahne požadovaný rozsah hodnoty dh (0-50). Obe konečné hodnoty pre KW a dh sa zadajú do vodomeru fillmeter. K tomu je potrebné stlačiť na 5 sek. tlačidlo Mode ; zadanie hodnoty KW, znovu stlačiť tlačidlo Mode ; zadanie hodnoty dh, znovu tlačidlo Mode. Dôležité: Až po stlačení všetkých troch tlačidiel súčasne bude spočítaná hodnota G (+10%) a uložená. Hodnota by mala zodpovedať požadovanému objemu. Až teraz je prvé uvedenie do prevádzky elektronického vodomeru fillmeter uložené. Iné funkcie boli popísané v predošlom odseku. Od hodnoty G je možné odčerpávať množstvo vody až do tej doby, kým sa spustí alarm ( pri +10% pôvodne spočítanej hodnoty G). Súčasným stlačením 3 tlačidiel je možné nastaviť znovu pôvodnú hodnotu G. Zadanie novej hodnoty pre G vyžaduje stlačenie ( 5 sek.) tlačidla Mode. Initial start-up for ulterior use The reflex fillmeter is mainly developed for the soft water capacity control. For its use in other applications a special calculation is necessary: If the reflex fillmeter is used to sound an alert after the flow rate of G liters of water, reasonable values of KW and dh have to be set to calculate the desired amount of G. The KW-value has to be set within the range of values between and The range of dh allows entries between 1 and 50. After setting the KW value the dh value is being calculated according to the following: dh = (up to ) / (G x 1,1) (only entries in steps of are possible) If the calculated value dh is out of this range of values above 50, the value KW has to be set lower to reach the range of application for the value dh (0-50). The two valid values for KW and dh are put into the reflex fillmeter. Therefor the the Mode button is pressed for 5 s; entry of the value KW, again pressing of Mode ; entry of dh, again pressing of Mode. NOTE: After pressing all keys simultaneously the value G is calculated and stored. The value should match with the desired value. The initial start-up of the reflex fillmeter is completed at this point. Further applications have been explained in the previous paragraph. The delivered amount of water is deducted from the value G (+ 10%) as long as the alert is sounded (at 10 % of the originally calculated value G ). By pressing the 3 buttons simultaneously the orignial value G is re-set. A new value G requires pressing the button Mode (5 s) ( above). Príklad: Zavlažovanie záhrady Po 500 litroch (G) má čerpadlo zavlažovania cez bezpotenciálový kontakt vypnúť. Voľba (KW = dh = / (G x 1,1) = / (500 x 1,1) 11). Zadanie hodnoty KW a dh do vodomeru fillmeter. Example: Garden irrigation system After 500 l (G) the pump of the garden irrigation system should be shut down automatically via the dry contact. Selected: KW = dh = / (G x 1,1) = / (500 x 1,1) 11. Entry of the values KW and dh into the fillmeter.

10 10 Výpadok prúdu/power failure V prípade výpadku prúdu zostávajú všetky parametre uložené. Hodiny zostávajú nečinné počas výpadku prúdu. Po opätovnej dodávke prúdu do zariadenia, hodiny pokračujú ďalej v odpočítavaní nastavených hodnôt automaticky uložených pred výpadkom prúdu. In case of a power failure all parameters are stored. The clock is standing idle during this interruption. After the power is restored the clock continues from the time stored before the power failure. Výstup/Floating output V prípade záujmu o použitie hlásenia súhrnnej poruchy (napr. vyčerpanie zmäkčovacej kapacity), je potrebné opatrne demontovať plastový kryt zariadenia fillmeter. Svorkovnica relé bezpotenciálového hlásenia sa nachádza pod krytom. Max. parametre externého potenciálu sú max. 24V /100 ma. In case of using the floating output, the cap of the fillmeter has to be screwed off. The cap is carefully turned down, so that the terminal towards the connection of the output is accessible. Po počiatočnom naplnení systému, je vložený nová náplň cartridge do zariadenia fillsoft, kt. bude zmäkčovať doplňovaciu vodu pre budúce úbytky systému. Nastavenie (uvedenie do prevádzky) zariadenia fillmeter ( viď strana 4) musí byť vykonané až po prvom naplnení systému. ( Instruction manual fillsoft ) The water amount, which is filled into the heating system per cartridge, is equivalent to the system volume divided by the number of cartridges required. For the initial filling the alert modes of the fillmeter are irrelevant. Only the calculated amount of water per cartridge has to be controlled by the fillmeter [t].after the filling process is finished, a new cartridge is inserted, which is responsible for the future softening of the replenishment
