2 Welcome to Cresent A better trained and more competent workforce can significantly reduce the number of incidents with Health and Safety Implications. Cresent has produced this booklet to demonstrate how the Health and Safety training requirements for oil and gas industry can be met quickly and inexpensively. Taking time-out from operational matters for training and development can incur significant costs. With Cresent s focused Health and Safety training courses, however, delivery can take place at any location, with a typical duration of under an hour. This is because our interactive courses can be delivered over the internet via your own intranet or by purchasing a CD containing all course materials. All our courses are Oil and Gas specific, having been produced as a direct result of particular requests from industry. All Cresent courses have been produced by subject experts, subsequently reviewed and validated by members of relevant Health & Safety Executive Committees. Everyone who completes a Cresent Health and Safety course receives a certificate, while we maintain a central record of all trainees and the courses they have passed to provide a full audit trail if necessary.
