10 Physical Injury incurred from Environment work Physical Traffic where koala is sitting. Ranger leads the group, and structures animal encounters. If koalas are on the boardwalk. handrail etc. rangers will keep the group at a safe distance and remove the group if the animal is distressed. Signage placed near koalas. Do Not Touch. Rangers conduct safety briefing prior to tour, including hazards and proper use of equipment (wheelbarrows, shovels etc.) Necessary safety equipment including gloves and goggles are provided When working in areas where traffic may be present all group members including staff are to wear hi-vis vests.
