Valve alibration Work ondition > Valve al > dvanced Valve alibration The a the calibration that mut be et to allow ccuontrol to know how the valve pond and to et the corct value. 1. akout or Minimum Repone: Thi i the amount of ervo voltage that mut be applied to get the valve to move. (Set Default value to 10. djut a neceary.) DeadZone or llowable Error: Thi i the percent amount of error away from the target rate befo the Rate/Section ontrol Module will attpt to adjut flow. (Set at 2%-3%) Gain: Thi et how quickly the valve pond when making an adjutment. Proportional Gain i the value ued for ervo valve. To make moother adjutment to rate lower the gain. To make quicker adjutment incae the gain. (Start with Proportional Gain at 20. djut a needed.) dditional Tip for Getting Started 1. Set the Flow Error Timeout at 45 econd until you get the yt adjuted and operating corctly. The default i 5 econd. Thi may ult in the application being hut down befo you have a chance to ee how it i operating. fter the yt i operating corctly, thi can be et lower to give you a quicker warning if omething i wrong. (Work ondition > Valve al > dvanced alibration > Scroll down to 2nd page and Flow Error Timeout) 2. Set the Fault Speed to Slow or Off until you get the yt adjuted and operating corctly. The default i Normal. (Work ondition > Operate > Fault Speed) fter the yt i operating corctly, thi can be et back to Normal. You can run thi at Slow if the yt give too many Fault Warning at Normal. 3. Set the Proportional Gain at 20, akout at 10, and DeadZone at 2 for tarting value. Incae the Proportional Gain to make the control valve pond quicker. Decae the Proportional Gain if the control valve i peatedly overhooting and underhooting. 4 ccuontrol Operation for NH3 pplication t To tart applying product: Go to Toolbox>ccutrl>Default Speed Enter a default peed. The applicator will default to thi peed if all ground peed ource a lot. The Mater pply button may need to be cycled twice to tart the application. 1. Pparation. Inert a data card in the diplay.. ate or Select a Grower/Farm/eld/Tak & rop Type (Performance>Profile) 2. Product Setup: Toolbox>Product. Name the product (NH3). Select the form for the product (Granular). Select Uage (Fertilizer) D. Enter Default pplication Rate E. Enter Minimum and Maximum pplication Rate in pound 10 of actual nitrogen, not pound of NH3. 3. Product Layer ignment: Work ondition>layer to aign a product to a control ection of the applicator. Select or ate a Work ondition.. Select Layer 1 ontrol Type (ccuontrol nhydrou). Select Product for Layer 1 ontrol D. Select ontainer if uing the ontainer E. ign additional layer if needed.
