3 Corporate Overview SENTOSA LEISURE GROUP Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) was set up on 1 September 1972 as a Statutory Board under the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI). SDC and its business units form the Sentosa Leisure Group. The group manages, plans, develops and maintains Sentosa Island. We are also the state-appointed managing agent for the Southern Islands. 15 Sentosa Gives Annual Sentosa CSR Week, started in 2011 Targets the public and disadvantaged children and youth Time-off granted for staff to participate in Sentosa Gives as volunteers Partner Charity Ongoing with APSN Tanglin School since 2010 Offer Sentosa as a living classroom for the students (e.g. work experience, internship opportunities, learning journey) 62

17 HR policy on staff volunteering In support of employees who are engaged in personal philanthropy Time off, Island Admission waiver and free admission to one of Sentosa-owned attractions are granted for staff to bring their VWO/charity group to the island Corporate Discount Bulk purchase rates for VWO and charity groups Island Partner (IP) Support Island Admission waiver for IPs which conduct their own CSR projects for VWO/charity groups 64
