3 40 KM OF THE BEST DESCENT WITH A HEIGHT DIFFERENCE OF OVER 1,000 M The Vallnord Bike Park, one of the main attractions of the Valls del Nord, has a total of 28 circuits of different levels, of which 21 are descent, 2 enduro, 4 cross country, 1 four cross,1 e-bike,1 pump track, a kids bike park and a practice area. During the season, three lifts are in service to give access to the Bike Park: the La Massana cablecar, with starting point in the centre of the village, at 1,300 m, and end point at La Caubella, at 1,950 m, and two disengageable chairlifts, La Serra OPENING 19th MAY * See calendar page 14 II and El Cubil, the latter reaching the highest point of the Bike Park at 2,350 m. Around the Vallnord Bike Park complementary services have been created which provide added value to the facilities: bike hire shops and maintenance services, descent school, apartments and hotels adapted to the users needs and bike cleaning and parking points. 3

7 BIKE CIRCUITS ENDURO There are two circuits, of red and blue levels. Modality in which there are sections where pedalling is necessary. 80% of these circuits are on paths/trails. DESCENS Almost 100% natural circuits, the rest prepared with heavy machinery, where there is little need to pedal. A great variety of natural jumps and some artificial. All levels are present. It is recommended to use a descent bike. NEW PUMP TRACK A modular structure suitable for all ages and levels. This circuit is ideal for working on balance and piloting skills and improving confidence on the bike before setting out on the open circuits. = Descent PT = Pump Track EN = Enduro XC = Cross-Country 4X = Four Cross CROSS COUNTRY Mostly pedalling circuits. There are 3 levels and it is recommended to use an XC (cross-country) bike. The higher-level routes have technical zones with roots and rocks. FOUR CROSS A circuit that combines jumps with fun and thrills. High-plain zones, step-ups, linked bankings and a trunk zone. WOOD PARK Circuits with wooden modules: gangways, drops and wall ride, in combination with natural sections with roots and rocks. KIDS BIKE PARK A circuit adapted for the youngest riders, for enjoying and learning. One Mini Wood Park circuit and two of descent. E-BIKE New E-Bike circuit from La Massana village to Coll de la Botella area, suitable for all levels. 7

8 WALKING CIRCUITS HIKING This summer the Pal station offers signposted hiking routes designed for the safe practice of this modality. From the spring onwards, provided the snow permits, these paths are prepared and opened to the general public. The four current routes are signposted with all the information considered appropriate: distance, height difference, rest areas, precaution zones, etc. They all run through the Pal station and some reach the village of La Massana. As a precautionary measure, hikers are recommended to download the Alpify app, which enables the rescue protocol to be activated in cases of emergency or disorientation. 8

On completing the Pla de la Cot circuit you have two options, the Collada de Montaner and the path that leads to the Coll de la Botella. They both form part of the routes of the Andorra Ultra Trail Vallnord and are ideal options for trail lovers and those who want to discover incredible landscapes. 9

COLL DE LA BOTELLA New blue circuit, 2,4 km, which runs from Cubil pic to the new service building at coll de la botella. SOBIRANS New Green XC circuit, 2,5 km, link up coll de la botella area with Pla de la cot. E-BIKE From La Massana village to coll de la botella, 7 km track suitable for all levels. 11 SAFETY ON THE SLOPES BIKE PATROLS Vallnord Bike Park La Massana has a professional bike patrol team who design the circuits, supervise the riders safety and guarantee the correct daily maintenance of the facilities. They are all fully trained in first aid and hold the first and second monitor s awarded by TerraMethod Cycling, a training firm endorsed by the Whistler Mountain Bike Park. 11
