1 PACRAT JANUARY 24, 2016 RACE RESULTS - Revised Results Based on a Par Time of seconds What a great race day! Firm snow, sunny skies, and a race course that held up throughout the day. And an added bonus that we had no timing issues, not one rerun. I think that is a first. Thanks to everyone helping out. We had 148 racers show up for our first race out of 177 that are currently signed up. I guess a few wanted to watch the football games plus there were a few that were out of town. Oui Ski scored 55 points to stay in first place, newcomer The Ocho Plus scored 60 points to close the gap on first place, Awesome tales scored 66 points to move from ninth to third, and Schussing Shysters scored 61 to move from ninth to fourth. There is a crowded field behind them. Still plenty of time to make a move up the standings as we have seen huge point swings in the past, especially if your team has full participation. We have three boarders this year and we score them with the 10% discount as prescribed by NASTAR. As for individuals, there s strong competition for fastest man on the hill with Steve Sarich just edging Paul Soper and Geoff Mihalko. Newbie Emily Sarch was again the fastest of the ladies. Classifications according to League Rules. Classification for first race based on previous season class finished with downstrikes ( D )/upstrikes ( U ) starting anew with the new season. Racers with no prior PACRAT experience classified according to time in their first race of the season. D with an * after them indicates a handicap that is more than one class below existing class. The FWRA Championships are being held March at Alpine Meadows in California. You need to let Dale Parshall know right away if you have interest in participating.
