If you are or know of anyone who is, please contact Event Chair - Larry Sachi at or larrysachi@yahoo.com Calling all Webelos! Saturday November 17th, 2012 we'll be hosting Webelos Activity Day at St. John Vianney's School in South St Paul. Watch for upcoming sign-up sheet that will be coming soon! Packs- - ensure this event is on your calendar and your Webelos "save the date". We are looking for volunteers (adults or older boys) to help with teaching activity badges or helping with lunch). If anyone is interested please contact white.margaret@gmail.com or southward1@msn.com and let them know what badge you have a passion to teach. The boys that attend this event really enjoy it and learn a lot, let s help them out again this year. Sleep in Card board boxes? Yahoo! Troop 83 will host Card Board City again. The date is still being determined but tentatively sounds like it will be either 10/27 or 11/3. St Thomas Aquinas church has given us permission to hold event on their site. All boy scout or girl scout units are invited and we encourage webelos to attend as well. We'll have a campfire running all night and take any donations that are dropped off at our site, but most needed are cash donations and paper products. So start saving those big boxes - contact appliance stores, or similar as those are great resources. Any questions, please contact Margaret White at or white.margaret@gmail.com. Volunteers Needed The Activities Committee is looking for volunteers (individuals or troops) to teach WEBELOs Activity Pins at WEBELOs activity day on November 17 th and Boy Scout Merit Badges on Merit Badge Day February 23, 2013 Please contact Terri Tufte terri.tufte@gmail.com if you would like to chair an activity. Fall Camporee Fall Camporee is October Fred C Anderson The theme this year is CSI Kaposia, we ll be bringing back the trading blanket so start thinking now about things your troop might need or need to get rid of. Also coming back is activities in the morning and a rendezvous style afternoon, and of course campfire! New this year will be our Ultimate Frisbee Competition, campfire a Pig Roast and much, much more! The Stillwater lift Bridge is and will be closed. Plan to arrive at Fred C via Hudson FOS Training Breakout at the Oct. Roundtable. All units, this is a great time to get ideas for quickly and easily completing your FOS campaign in a quick and orderly fashion. We will have unit packets and goals to distribute so please make it a point to have your unit represented. We are also looking for individuals who will answer the challenge of becoming Trailblazers. These folks help make presentations to units that would like a new and exciting presentation.
