2 WELCOME Thank you for entering VitalityMove! I am so excited to be involved in the first event at Chatsworth House and am planning on running the Disney Music Mile with my son. Look forward to seeing you all on the day.

3 START TIMES The Event Village will open from 9:30am with a range of activities to entertain you before and after your run.

4 GETTING THERE Chatsworth House is located in Central England in the heart of the Peak District in Derbyshire Address: Chatsworth Bakewell Derbyshire DE45 1PP (if using a satnav system, please use postcode DE45 1SR) By car: - From the M1, take junction 29 towards Chesterfield and follow the brown signs for 16 miles - From Matlock, take the A6, then the B6012 for 8 miles - You can t use the main visitor vehicle entry point into Chatsworth for this event. You need to enter the event car park via the Golden Gate off of the A619 in the village of Netherends, Baslow the nearest postcode to the gates is DE45 1SR. Please follow any signage in place. By public transport: - Chesterfield Railway Station is a 30 minute taxi ride or take the 170 bus service operated by Hulley s between Chesterfield and Bakewell. - Sheffield Railway station is a 40 minute taxi ride or take the 218 bus service operated by TM Travel between Sheffield and Bakewell. - From Matlock the 217 bus service operated by TM Travel runs between Matlock & Chatsworth. - For up to date bus information, please visit Derbyshire County Council's journey planner.

5 CAR PARKING Car parking is available online in advance, or on site at a fee of 5 per car. Please pre-book your parking on our website and display the parking voucher to avoid delays on the day. Pre-booked car parking: If you have pre-purchased your parking online, you will receive your unique car parking voucher via on Wednesday 5 July. Please print and display this voucher clearly in your car on entry to the park. The parking voucher will need to be displayed in your car throughout the day to avoid any further charges. On the day payment: You will be able to purchase car parking on the day of the event for 5 (CASH ONLY). You will be issued with a car parking voucher on payment. Please display this voucher clearly in your car throughout the day to avoid further charges. The car park is accessible via the Golden Gates off of the A619 in the village of Netherends, Baslow the nearest postcode to the gates is DE45 1SR. Please follow any signage in place. Please note that it is a minute walk to the event village from the car park.

6 RACE PACK

7 BAG DROP A Bag Drop service will be available in the event village throughout the event. To avoid delays, where possible leave your bags with friends or family. Bag Drop Process At the bag drop marquee, you will be given 2 matching, numbered wristbands. Attach one wristband to your bag, and the other to your wrist and hand your bag to our bag drop volunteers. When you return to collect your bag show your wristband to our volunteers and they will collect your bag. Please do not leave valuables in the bag drop.

8 10KM COURSE The course will be a mixture of grass and hard paths within the grounds of the Chatsworth Estate. There will be stunning views over Chatsworth House and the surrounding parkland, however to see them you have to conquer The Ennis-Hill which is a little steeper than Murray Mound! The course goes up to the Hunting Lodge which is situated behind Chatsworth House. Once you reach the top of The Ennis- Hill, the route is flat with a downhill to the finish line.

There will be stunning views over Chatsworth House and the surrounding parkland, however to see them you have to conquer The Ennis-Hill which is a little steeper than Murray Mound! The course goes up to the Hunting Lodge which is situated behind Chatsworth House. Once you reach the top of The Ennis-Hill, the route is flat with a downhill to the finish line. There will be some fun and surprises along the way including our Dances with Wolves zone!

10 MUSIC MILE The Music Mile is a flat one mile looped course around the event village area. You can choose to do as many or as few Music Miles as you wish. So, if you want to dance your way around to some Disney tunes or groove to the latest Hot Hits, you don t have to choose you can do both! For each Music Mile you complete, you will get a themed wristband and there will also be a medal for all finishers of each distance. And, remember fancy dress is not compulsory but we would definitely love to see as many of you dressed up as possible! How many wristbands can you collect throughout the day? 11 SPORTS ZONE Our Sports Zone has a variety of activities for you to try: England Netball Take on your friends and family in a mini match or try and score a goal into the nets! England Hockey You can try and score a goal or just get used to hitting theball. Daley Thompson Athletics Run, jump and throw in a series of games that makes exercise fun! Go Ape! The team from Go Ape will be bringing their segways to the Sports Zone for you totry.

12 FOOD VILLAGE There will be a range of catering outlets in the Food Village on event day. Freemans Event Partners will be on site with a variety of concessions with something to suit all tastes.

13 EVENT VILLAGE Vitality Our information desk will be from thevitality marquee. Diabetes UK Staff from our official charity, Diabetes UK, will be on hand to cheer you on up the Ennis Hill! Nuffield Health Meet Nuffy Bear, ring the PB bell or just relax on one of the Nuffield Health deckchairs. Tomtom Sports Tomtom pacers will accompany you on the 5k and 10k and will be in the event village showcasing the Tomtom Spark that allows you to download 500 songs onto their latest pace watch. Adidas Exclusive VitalityMove t-shirts will be on sale in the event village.
