1 2016 MARDI PARTI CHEER & DANCE EXTRAVAGANZA REGISTRATION PACKAGE Thank you for your interest in the 4 th annual MARDI PARTI Cheer and Dance Extravaganza being held February 27th, 2016 within the spectacular Richmond Olympic Oval the only THEMED competition in the Northwest. As two of BC s most experienced event producers, we know what it takes to put on a first class event and are committed to providing athletes, parents, coaches and spectators with an event that is affordable & fun, where all levels are welcome and our families & fans can celebrate in style. Held in the amazing Richmond Olympic Oval (6111 River Road, Richmond BC), the speed skating venue for the 2010 Olympic Games Plenty of seating and space to ensure everyone gets to watch all the teams they want to see AND a FAN ZONE in front of the competition mat to ensure all your families and fans get priority seating to watch their favorite teams YOURS USASF All star levels 1-6, All star PREP, Special needs, Parents teams & High School divisions offered. Excellent warm up facilities including A full 42 X54 sprung competition floor, a full 42 X54 non-sprung warm up floor in addition to non-sprung stretching strip, a stunt strip AND a sprung tumble only strip! DOUBLE PANEL judging system to ensure the event runs smoothly and spectators are entertained continuously throughout the event. Judges will have access to video playback to help ensure correct deductions are given. Multiple award ceremonies to reduce the wait time for teams and parents. Varsity standard of scoring used for all All-Star portions of the competition. Please visit for complete information and deduction system being used. Only a short 20min drive over the border from WA State making it a great choice for American teams looking for a 1 day event in late February. These teams must practice 2hrs or less/week. This division is only open to teams who do not compete in regular all-star divisions in this competitive season and athletes may not crossover between all-star and all-star prep teams at this event. All USASF rules and guidelines apply for levels 1-3 and max time limit for a routine is 2mins. Teams will be scored with the Varsity Prep score sheet. Full year all-star teams should compete in the appropriate all-star division NOT the All Star Prep Division. MUSIC: You must have your music available to play off an mp3 (iphone/ipod/mp3) device to avoid any possibility of the music skipping. It is the responsibility of the coach to ensure the device is set to airplane mode. Please note that playing your music off a mobile device will be the only system available at this event. ADMISSION: Cash is the only form of payment accepted. There is a bank machine on site in the lower lobby. Adults $10.00 / Students (with student ID) $5.00 which includes admission for the WHOLE DAY. Children 5 and under are free. CONCESSION: There will be a concession located on site hosted by the Oval Cafe. It will include various lunch/dinner items as well as snack and beverage choices. PARKING: We are proud to be able to provide FREE parking at an overflow lot located a short 5min walk from the Oval. There is limited pay parking within the Oval. There is bus parking available, please contact us to arrange details. **There will be many great raffle prizes, a 50/50 and various MARDI PARTI activities held throughout the day.
