By registering, a onetime permission for the debiting of the provided account will be granted. Is the 01/06/2017 or the allocation of the given starting places contingents. A re-registration between the routes is only possible until the 01/06/2017 if places are still available. In this case, an administrative charge of 5 Euro needs to be paid. It is possible to rescind from the 100-KM-march for health reasons. Route Rheinbach Bonn Remagen Peace museum Brücke von Remagen Bad Neuenahr Ahrweiler Walporzheim- Dernau Rech -Mayschoss Kalenborner Höhe Gelsdorf Altendorf Wormersdorf Rheinbach The march route will mainly proceed on asphalted ways, but also on paved hiking trails, forest ways and country lanes. The rules of the road traffic regulations are applied. The route has been planned in a way so that only at a few spots district roads or country roads need to be crossed. The route profile is predominantly flat. However, the participants will be faced with a significant surge from KM 78 to 83. At this point, there will also be the Kalenborner Höhe, the roof of the tour. In total, the route only features an altitude of about 800 meters. Time limits The RHINE-AHR-MARCH is NO running event and NO competition. There will be no assessment. The goal will be opened on the 08/07/2017 at 7:40 am This corresponds to a tempo of 7 minutes per kilometer The goal will be closed on the 08/07/2017 At 20 pm. 3 3 The opening hours of the catering and the control points on the route also orientate themselves towards these velocities. Opening hours of the control points KM 25: 22:24 01:45 KM 50: 01:43-07:45 KM 75: We ask the participants, to please incorporate this into their planning. Also due to organizational and personnel reasons (individual catering stations will be open for more than 10 hours!) the catering stalls and the goal won t be opened in advance. Participants who won t have reached or won t have left the catering stalls, control points or the goal within the provided opening hours will be taken out of the assessment. Timekeeping The timekeeping will be conducted via single-use transponders which will be given out with the starting documents. The timekeeping and data capture will be conducted through the Frielingsdorf data service. Catering Basically, every participant needs to provide for him or herself autonomously in between the catering stations. On the route, at least minimum 10 catering stations will be installed. There, water, coke and tea will be offered as beverages. Besides sandwiches, waffles, energy bars, bananas and apples, at KM 50 the participants will also receive a warm noodle soup. We urgently recommend all participants to take a beverage bottle and a hydration pack with them. They can be filled at the stalls. A concrete overview of the opening hours of the catering stalls with the final catering places and with the final offer of beverages and food will be received by the participants two weeks before the event takes place. It s not possible to transport the individual catering to the individual spots. Baggage/KM 50 Safety Free service: Transportation of clothes to KM 50. Each participant can check in a sports bag with clothes and shoes for a change at the start. However, this bag mustn t be heavier than 10 KG and mustn t contain liquids, medicaments or valuables. This bag will be handed in at the start, will be picked up at KM 50 by the participants and will be brought back to the goal again after changing the clothes. During the night hours, the participants need to wear reflectors over their clothes and to take a flashlight or headlamp with

4 4 them which is switched on. Furthermore, it is necessary to take a functioning cell phone and a drinking container (cup/bottle) for the intake of beverages with you. Ambulance service Back haul The safety of the participants and the helpers has the highest priority. On several catering stalls, paramedics will be available if needed. In addition, at all stalls first aid sets and plasters will be provided. Each participant will find the telephone number of the organizational administration and the international emergency number 112 on his or her starting map. If giving up or exceeding the time limit, no claim to a back haul can be made. The route has been planned in a way so that numerous bus terminals or train stations can be reached easily. With the main station in Bonn, Rheinbach can be reached by bus with line 800 in 45 minutes and by train (RB 23, departure platform 5) in 29 minutes. No dogs Declaration of consent Due to the long asphalted ways, the expected temperatures and the prevention of hazardous situations, the entrainment of dogs on both march routes is prohibited and a contravention will mean that the participant will be excluded from the event. I am aware of the fact that a participation in the Rhine-Ahr- March on the 07/07/2017 and the 08/07/2016 over a distance of 100 KM represents a big sportive challenge. I hereby declare explicitly, that I am prepared accordingly and that my health situation meets the requirements of the event. I am aware that for the participants of the RHINE-AHR- MARCH 2017 the regulations of the road traffic act are applied. The participants have no claim to blocked streets or routes. The participants have to avow for any violations themselves. The same applies to accidents which result from a disobedience of these regulations. I am aware that I will be disqualified if I leave the route, change the official start map in any way, in particular if I make the advertisement print invisible or unrecognizable. I am aware that during the night hours I need to wear reflectors on/over my clothes and that I need to take a flashlight/headlamp with me which is switched on. An oblivion can lead to a disqualification. I am also aware that I need to take a functioning cell phone and a drinking container for the intake of beverages with me. Furthermore, I have been made aware of the fact that I need to provide myself with food and beverages on my own in between the catering places and that I should take a drinking bottle or a hydration pack with me.

5 5 Legal disclaimer If I should discontinue the march prematurely, I will deregister myself at a catering stall or by calling the cell phone of the organizational administration. I am also aware that in such a case, I need to organize the way back to the start/goal myself. I have no claim to a back haul through the operator. I hereby declare my agreement to the fact that the personal data which was provided in the registration as well as any photos, film material and interviews in broadcast, television, advertisement, books, photomechanical reproduction which are made in the context of the RHINE- AHR-MARCH 2017 are used without any claim for injunctive relief coming from my side and that they can be forwarded to sponsors and partners of the event, to the Frielingsdorf data service as a timekeeper, to the ambulance service for the handling of possible assistance and to the photo service of the event. I confirm the correctness of all the data provided by me and assure not to give my start map, respectively my timekeeping transponder, to any other person. I agree that my data will be saved beyond the event day for purposes of advertisement of the Good Walking Club e.v. If I don t participate or if the event needs to be canceled due to acts of nature (for example tempests of floods) or due to regulatory agency dictations, I have no claim to have the organizational fee refunded. The operator or its representatives and designees are not liable for any damages or injuries of any kind which can occur through a participation in the RHINE-AHR-MARCH and in its frame events. Unless if they were brought about on purpose or through culpable negligence.this also applies to sponsors, the organizers, to the owners of private ways, places and building, respectively to their representatives. This legal disclaimer applies to chaperones as well. The entrance of the historic wine cellar of the wine manufactory Walporzheim, Walporzheimer Straße 173, Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler will happen on the warranty of the participant only. With the written or electronic registration and the participation, the participants acknowledge the legal disclaimer of the operator for all kinds of damages. With the written or electronic registration and the participation, the participants assure that they will not make any titles or claims to the operator or to the host, as well as to its helpers and representatives, the owners of private ways, places and buildings, respectively to their representatives, all affected towns and communities as well as to any other persons or bodies, as long as no claim to liability can be made. The operator doesn t take over any liability for health risks of the participants in the context of the participation in this event. It is incumbent to the participants to check their health state in advance Generally, the completion of insurances (health, accident, liability etc.) is a matter solely to the participants.

6 6 Upon registering, the participants confirm to provide over a sufficient insurance cover. The operator has the right to remove apparently exhausted participants temporarily or completely from the event. The operator isn t liable for thefts, respectively for lost items and/or for items that were kept as a free service. If the operator in cases of acts of nature has the rights to, or due to regulatory agency dictations or safety reasons is obliged to undertake changes in the conduction of the event or to cancel it, there will be no indemnity obligation in existence for the participant.
