SCENARO: Earlier in the week Mrs. Brady s class practiced fire drill procedures. The class had practiced listening to the bell, quietly lining up at the door, walking quietly through the hallway to the nearest exit, and exiting the building to their designated spot at the far edge of the playground. Mrs. Brady decided that today they were going to practice their fire drill procedures again to get ready for the school-wide fire drill scheduled for Friday. Mrs. Brady announced to the class that when they heard the bell, they were to line up quickly and quietly and wait for further instructions. A few minutes later Mrs. Brady rang the bell.
