More teams placed in the Colorado Champions League Number of U15-U19 teams applied for CCL but placed in Centennial League Fall 2017 Girls - 30 Spring 2018 Boys 51 Fall 2018 Girls 13 Spring 2019 Boys 27 Smaller Centennial Elite Groups, better chance for promotion into CCL

6 Application Process Colorado Champions League Any team can apply for the CCL Clubs must submit roster during time of registration Strength of roster and previous season finish considered for team placement Teams not accepted in requested division will be compared to teams in next division below and so on until placed accordingly Teams must re-apply every season, no guaranteed placement based on previous season standings

7 Appeals and Rebuttals Process Colorado Champions League Teams are placed according to strength of rosters submitted as well as previous season s standings Preliminary alignment is sent to 1-2 club contacts for team placement review Clubs can appeal team placement Need to identify one team in one division higher than originally placed Need to include names of ALL rostered players and previous season team Identified teams in appeal have opportunity to submit a rebuttal Advanced LOC reviews appeals and rebuttals and makes final team placement decisions

9 Appeals Process Centennial League Teams are placed based on club recommendation Preliminary alignment sent to 1-2 club contacts for placement review Clubs can appeal to move into a different division Team movement requests may be between Elite through Bronze, but not from Elite A to Elite B

10 League Structure Review Secondary League League A and League B 8 th graders who lose their teammates due to HS season Teams are based all on club placement Fall season-boys Spring season-girls Club Pass League No rosters required Allows age appropriate player movement to sustain integrity of league No Special Authorization needed for two games in one day 3 referees per game

11 Billing Process Invoices are generated through Club GotSoccer accounts Separate invoices for team registration and referee fees by league CSA to work with GS to make sure Invoice Description is labeled correctly! Easy to manage where money is being allocated

12 Game Changes Policy Deadline to change a game without penalty, for any reason, is 7 calendar days from when schedule is posted on CSA website. Exceptions are but not limited to: family tragedy, natural disaster, SC/PC Semi-Finals and Finals weekend All game changes MUST be submitted via Game Change Form Home Clubs are responsible for communication with referee assignors Failure to submit CSA Game Change Form could affect referee coverage Credit Card information is required to submit form Clubs will be notified by CSA if card is going to be charged Clubs must manage requests in GotSoccer account HOME or AWAY team/club can submit request Changes must be agreed upon and communicated with BOTH teams/clubs before form is submitted Home Clubs are responsible for updating Game Officials accordingly Secondary League has separate form, no fee attached

13 Coaching Conflicts First season of Clubs handling all coaching conflicts Clubs/Teams have seven (7) day window to submit game change requests, for any reason, with no penalty Finalized game details do not have to be decided upon within 7 day window, need proof of communication starting within 7 day window Save all correspondence in case of requested review in future Outside of the 7 day window, clubs can deny game change requests Exceptions are but not limited to: family tragedy, natural disaster, SC/PC Semi-Finals and Finals weekend

14 Score Reporting The home coach will report the score through GotSoccer using the Event ID and Pin# The Event ID and Pin# will be provided to clubs when the schedule posts and the clubs will be responsible for forwarding the credentials to the teams Score discrepancies can be ed to the respective league s Colorado Champions Centennial Secondary

15 FIFA ID Numbers In order for competitive players to get entered into the National Data Center and receive their FIFA and US Soccer ID Numbers, they must be rostered and have a level/grade of Competitive Any players not labeled as Competitive will not be automatically entered into the National Data Center to receive their FIFA and US Soccer ID number

16 Risk Management Background check, concussion test, and abuse prevention are required for all coaches and assistant coaches by CSA and US Soccer Managers are only required to complete the background check The coaches and manager cannot be rostered with a team until these requirements are met Originally, 1-2 days was the initial processing time set by SSCI. Since then, with the huge influx, it was more around 7-10 days. Super annoying, start process ASAP!!

17 Risk Management Coaches and managers login to GotSoccer, where they fill in their information, submit the check, and complete the concussion test The background check is sent from GotSoccer to SSCI, who processes the check and sends the result back to GotSoccer If the coach has a completed background check on file, they can be added to rosters If the coach serves with multiple clubs, as long as the first name, last name, date of birth, and address are identical on the different accounts, the coach or club can login and click Check Reports and the completed check will copy over. After it s copied over, the same can be done under the Concussion Test

18 International Clearance As of today, International Clearance (ITC) is not required for all players unless the player is playing in the Development Academy (DA). If the player is playing in any CSA leagues, the birth certificate is submitted as usual so that CSA can verify the date of birth CSA strongly recommends clubs submit ITC for any players with foreign birth certificates as US Soccer requirements may change at any given time While the ITC is being processed by US Soccer, the player will be permitted to play in CSA leagues

20 Club Roles and Information in GotSoccer Mailing addresses and contact information must be up-to-date in your GotSoccer account. Club roles and Staff must have user accounts created in the GS system as all CSA correspondence will be sent to the respective club contacts via s through the GS platform.
