5 League Season Items Coach Registration Background Checks Badges Uniforms All Coaches & Team Managers need Registration & Background Checks completed all online. Each team is strongly advised to have two registered coaches (not spouses). Background check name and driver s license must match name exactly. You ll need to sign your new team roster once your team is finalized or the division is closed. Your team cannot play in RYSA until that roster is signed by the Coach. Coaches ID s are required for RCP Everyone gets new badges in the Fall. Replacements cost $5. All uniforms are taken care of by each team. Don t forget the RYSA patch needs to be placed on the left arm of every jersey. Players Numbers: Coaches are responsible for updating GOTSOCCER.COM with each player s number.

6 League Season Items continued Schedules Dates Schedules/Schedule Requests: Request 1 weekend only per team.(blackout dates) Games will be scheduled first on Saturdays, then Sundays & then weeknights being the next primary game day. Rainout Line: Coaches, Managers Only We cannot make Saturday decisions earlier than 7:30am. Sign up for RAINEDOUT.NET!!! we send out all of our game and practice information for RCP through Rainedout. Practices: Players may not participate in more than two (2) practice sessions per week except when authorized by your age group director. U4 thru U8: Practices shall be limited to a maximum of 45 minutes of physical activity per practice. U10 and up: no more than 1 hour practice time per session. Season Starts Saturday February 24 th Season Ends Sunday May 6 th. No Games: March 11th to 18th (Spring Break), April 1st (Easter Sunday) Coach s Meeting: April 26 th Major League Season Starts after Spring Break Season End May 13th unless extension required by a week. 7 League Season Items continued Game Details Referee fees Awards Playing Rules: ALL players get 50% play time EVERY game. ONLY exception is illness, injury, absence (at game) or disciplinary reason by RYSA A&D or Board of Directors. Participation awards will be given to every player in U4-U8. Trophies to top teams in U10 and up. All referees need to be paid prior to the game with exact change and in cash. In case of a forfeit please return referee money to RYSA office. 8 League Season Items continued Major League - Scores Scores must be entered into GotSoccer (GS) within 72 hours of game being played. How to enter scores? 2 available options phone-in system. Phone-in system info is on Coaches Page on our website or your game card within your schedule or on public schedule. Scoring is on 3 point system: Win = 3, Tie = 1, Loss = 0

13 RYSA Athletic Development Program Dates: Fridays 2/23/18-5/4/18 (no training 3/16/18) Time: 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm Location: Rowlett Community Park (rear fields - back of park) For RYSA players - all ages welcome. Coaches - bring your teams! Cost: $5.00 per session - please bring exact change. Register for Feb 23rd: Each week there will be a registration necessary. Limited space so register early! We will be using the FIFA 11+ as the foundation of our program.
