2 Realignment s and Tie-breaker Criteria Championship 8 teams 5 1st place teams and 3 wildcard 2 nd place teams Remaining 10 teams Consolation 10 teams Tie-breaker criteria In the event of a 2-way tie in the standings at the conclusion of round robin competition, the team awarded the higher standing will be: The team that won the game between the tied teams. The team with the least goals against in their division, to a maximum of 5 in a game. The team with the most goals for in their division, to a maximum of 5 in each game. Penalty shots (as per FIFA rules) In the event of a 3 or 4 way tie in the standings at the conclusion of round robin competition, the team awarded the higher standing will be: The team with the least goals against in the games played between the tied teams. The team with the least goals against in all of the games played in the division to a maximum of 5 in each game. The team with the most goals for in the games played in their division to a maximum of 5 in each game. The team with the most goals for in all games played between the tied teams, to a maximum of 5 in each game. Penalty shots (as per FIFA rules) *Note : In a three or four way tie, once one or more of the teams has advanced or been eliminated through the use of the above criteria, revert back to the first criterion for a 2-way or 3-way tie. Continue until all ties have been broken. Wildcard Criteria to determine Championship and Consolation placement 1. Most points in divisional play. 2. Fewest goals allowed in divisional play. 3. Most goals scored in divisional play, to a maximum of Best goal differential vs. divisional winner. 5. Fewest goals allowed vs. divisional winner. 6. Shootout. Teams will be placed in accordance with the above criteria in the first round of the realignment, but will not face a team from their round robin pool NOTE: 5-1st place division winners will be snaked between Y and G realignment divisions. 3-2nd place Wild Cards will be snaked to balance final three places on the championship side.
