2 Rouse Hill have advised the Association that they do not wish to host the 2014 Association Miniroos Gala Day. Call for nominations to host the Association Miniroos Gala Day will be made at the next scheduled General Meeting (4/06/14) PK Question raised regarding whether there was a published guiding document that outlines minimum game day standards/expectations for miniroos with regard to technical area, parents encroaching field, field marking, referees etc. Discussion held. General overview of minimum game day standards/expectations to be covered during the next scheduled General Meeting (4/06/14) Draft guiding document to be developed and reviewed by the BOD for approval and implementation in season 2015 PK PK No Further Questions 2.2 Graeme Carrett Internal Cups Status Discussion held regarding status of internal cups Cottam Cup scheduled to commence 8/06/14. Final of Cottam Cup to be held at Melita Stadium on a Wednesday evening. Presidents cup to be opened to O35L. Six (6) entries received for Thistle Cup. Cup to be run as straight knock-out. Draw to be released with first round scheduled for 8/06/14 to be sent to clubs with 35L for potential entries into the Presidents Cup Works at Melita Stadium GDSFA_BOD_2014_04_ Page 2 of 7

3 Discussion held regarding status of works to be carried out at Melita Stadium. 2.3 Brendan Byrne Ladies competition is running smoothly however Under 12 girls is reflecting other female competition whereby grading is skewed Dee Jonsson Courses Three (3) miniroo referees courses and 2 grassroots coaching courses conducted to date. Three (3) qualified grassroots coaching instructors now available within the association Goalkeeping Academy Sixty-Five (65) cards are available of which forty-five (45) have been allocated. Clubs MUST organise the # of goal keeper cards and then CLUB order from office by next Friday Goalkeeping academy promotion is open to Parramatta FC as well Girls Academy Pilot girls academy is being conducted by Brian Dene (Coerver) over the next 4 Monday evenings Holiday Camps Two (2) holiday camps are being held during the next school holidays. Camps will be run by Brian Dene (Coerver). Camps will be conducted at Green-up Park and Girraween Park. Camps will be compromised of four (4) three (3) hour sessions at a cost yet to be determined. 4 the coaching and development portfolio Sent Off Player List Asked that the list of sent off players be updated 2.5 Matt Kennerson Melita Plumbing Issues Discussion held regarding ongoing plumbing issues at Melita Stadium. Inspection port to be installed to allow for daily flushing of pipeline Electronic Scoreboard Discussion held regarding delay in scoreboard installation as a result of Jeamea safety stipulations regarding gas lines BBQ Area DA approval from council required prior to works. Follow-up with council required Fundraising Finalising chocolate drive. Investigating potential trivia night in July SAP Running smoothly Parramatta FC Financials GDSFA and Parramatta FC registration payment spreadsheets to be compared to ensure correlation. 5 Meeting to be scheduled next week for discussion between, CD and MK. MK PL2 Club Meeting Review of discussion points from recent PL2 meeting Waratah Cup Parramatta FC performed well in Waratah Cup. Parramatta FC are scheduled to play FFA cup qualification play-off on Wednesday 4 June Grievance Discussion held regarding grievance received in relation to the Parramatta FC Under 14 s coach. Meeting to be arranged between PK, GC, MK and the Parramatta FC sub-committee in relation to the matter. MK 2.6 Kevin Haines Summer Soccer Competitions Discussion held regarding the establishment of a procedure for the dealing of judicial matters resulting from summer soccer competitions. Further discussion required BOD 3.0 GENERAL MANAGERS REPORT 3.1 Investigate suitability of sporting pulse for the 2015 season. 3.2 Restrict number of players registered per team. Discussed at previous BOD meeting (04/02/14) where it was noted that number of registered players in Under 12 s to Under 18 s would be limited to seventeen (17). GDSFA_BOD_2014_04_ Page 5 of 7

6 Review for season GENERAL BUSINESS 4.1 By-Law Amendment Discussion held regarding the need to update the bylaw related to borrowing players as it no longer reflects current situation that allows the AAM 5 to borrow from 18-1 s, 21-1 s etc. Motion Raised Amend the By-Law to capture appropriate wording for eligible players being borrowed by AAM5 and AAM6 and AAL2. Moved for Acceptance Seconded Resolution BB KH Motion Carried 4.2 Borrowing Down Discussion held regarding borrowing age relevant players from AA down to 21 s. 4.3 Parramatta LadyHawks FC Graeme Carrett advised that he is stepping down as a director of Parramatta Ladyhawks FC effective immediately. Nominations for filling of the vacancy were open and Brendan Byrne was nominated by Graeme Carrett to fill the vacancy. Nomination was seconded by Kevin Haines Nomination was accepted by Brendan Byrnes. Brendan Byrne and Dee Jonsson are recognised as GDSFA represented board members holding director positions on the Parramatta Ladyhawks FC board.
