I would like to extend a warm welcome back to our loyal supporters after the Summer break and look forward to seeing you throughout the coming football season.

4 I would like to extend a warm welcome back to our loyal supporters after the Summer break and look forward to seeing you throughout the coming football season. You will see our Division has been renamed the East Division and not the Central Division, this is due to the fact a further new Division will be added for the 2018/19 season. There have been several players who have left the club, along with our previous Captain Wayne Carter, who has joined Egham Town as Assistant Manager. Abobaker Eisa has joined Wealdstone Football Club which is a big step up for him and we wish him all the very best for his future. Tony, along with Paul & Damien have been busy during the summer introducing new players to or squad for the start of the new season. I would therefore ask you to bear with us and allow these new players time to settle in. Finally Alan Odell, who was our President for many years sadly passed away last August, after numerous years associated with the Football Association he accumulated a lot of memorabilia, which was donated to Uxbridge FC. The monies raised from selling some of this memorabilia has been used to paint the main stand which, from the start od the 2017/18 season will now be known as the Alan Odell stand. I, and your committee would like you all to get behind Tony and his team cheering us on to greater things. Enjoy the season and Come on you Reds. Alan Holloway

5 Good Afternoon and welcome to Honeycroft I hope you have had a great break and looking forward to the new football season. I've got to admit that this close season as been one of the toughest I've ever had in football with a large part of the squad leaving for greener pastures with that happening it was now for Paul and myself to get on the phone and try to put together a squad for this coming season. Well after 5 weeks we are now begin to make small steps forward, pre season training has gone very well but performance's in matches are not quite there yet but last Saturday at Haringey Borough we begun to look like an outfit that in time can hold it's own. If there are any questions you want to ask please see me before any match while the lads are doing their warm up and I will try and answer them. The one shining light during the close season was young Abs signing a deal with local neighbours Wealdstone, who play in the National League South, I've no doubt we will be hearing and reading a lot about this young man. Wu know our first few matches will be tough, with players getting to know each other, so I would ask for your patience, support and a little time, we believe we have a squad that can hold its own in the division, there may be a few rocky moments but the club will always shine.
