Please see the below Terms and Conditions. Please complete the form and return to CGA. If you do not return the form, you will be dropped from the team. The form must be sent/delivered to Mandla Radebe on or fax No form means you will be dropped from the team. Terms and conditions: All athletes have to confirm in writing to CGA by the 14 January 2016 that they will accept this invitation and run for the province. Acceptance of the offer is based: 1. You have been/are in training and so are ready to race the marathon event. 2. You are injury free as of the day you sign the acceptance form. Should you later on fail to participate in the marathon event due to medical reasons, a bona fide medical doctors letter will have to be provided to CGA. 3. You will run in CGA colours as part of the CGA team. You cannot run for your club on the day. Please bring your own BLACK running shorts (no logos). 4. Age category athletes MUST wear the correct age tag on the front and back of their vests on race day for the entire duration of the race. Please ensure you are in possession of these tags. 5. You ensure that all relevant details are completed on your race number which you will wear on the day. Please note that incomplete race entry/race numbers will result in disqualification. You must bring valid ID with you TO THE EVENT. 6. Unless you are ill or injured, barring an Act of God, you will be on the start line on the 6 February 2016 in time for the official start. Athletes who arrive late will not be allowed to start. 7. Unless you seek medical attention during the race and are advised to retire from the race for medical reasons, you are expected to finish the race. 8. All team members are obliged to remain at the event until the end of the prize giving ceremony. 9. Athletes who agree to these terms and conditions will be held to them. Should you drop out ahead of the race, during the race, fail to wear CGA colours, fail to wear the appropriate age tag (if necessary), fail to complete, fail to wear the race number or be disqualified BOTH the athlete and their club will be held responsible to reimburse CGA or any and all costs incurred. 3
