This course is designed for a person who holds a current or recently expired Apply First Aid certificate. The recertification course assesses your current knowledge and skills, and recertifies and validates your first aid skills; it does not teach you all the content again. The Provide First Aid Recertification course is not suitable for a person who has never previously attended a first aid training course, or if your certificate expired more than 12 months ago. Please select a Provide First Aid Flexible Learning or Provide First Aid PLUS+ course if you have never attended first aid training before or your certificate expired more than 12 months ago. This course is designed for a person who has never completed first aid training before, if their certificate expired more than 12 months ago, or if they would like to learn first aid in a more comprehensive way. The Provide First Aid Flexible Learning course gives you the tools to learn the fundamental principles of first aid at your own pace, either through completing a self-paced workbook or through an online training resource. The skills are reinforced and assessed at a one day practical workshop. Please note: Participants will find it very difficult to successfully complete the one day workshop if the pre-learning work has not been completed before the practical session.
